You leaned in Mal's doorway as she ran about her room, packing up her old clothes from six months ago as she sobbed. She turned to her desk and stabbed a pencil box so it had multiple holes. Dropping the pencil she sobbed again, her face morphing into pure anguish. "I don't belong here!" she cried out, picking up the box and walking over to her mother's tank, taking the small dragon-lizard out and gently placing her in the box, closing with a sniffle "let's blow this popsicle stand, yeah?"
"And where exactly are you going?" you asked, Mal jumped a good two feet, looking at you with wide eyes.
"(y/n)!" Mal gasped, holding her hand to her chest as Maleficent hissed at you from her box "I-wha?"
"I saw you running, something go wrong on the date?" you asked as you stepped into the room, closing the door behind you. Mal closed her eyes and nodded, wiping away her tears. "You wanna talk about it?"
"He-he found out about the spell book" Mal said, her voice cracking as she gestured to her backpack, where the book was packed away. "And-he got mad at me? Which-I get since-like Evie said-I lied to him about it n all but-" Mal sobbed again, and you stepped closer to her, reaching out to rest your hand on her shoulder, her right hand reaching up to grab it tightly "-he just-got so angry-and-and-and I tried to explain why I was using it and-and that I was going to tell him on that date but-"
