Chapter Nine

[Halfway through the Traptainium weapon]

"Portal master? Where'd you go??" I gulped, earlier I had gotten separated from the portal master when she went back to go open a element gate, and now I seriously had no idea where I am? The room I am in had another pulse puzzle; which wasn't great, I wasn't the best at those which is why I was nervous about being separated from my portal master...

"Skylander! Um what are you doing here, I thought you were with your portal master?" I turned around quickly seeing glumshanks, I sighed in relief dude was literally zero threat. "Oh! Glumshanks! What're you doing here I thought the golden queen..."

I stopped as he chuckled "well the golden queen was captured, and then lord kaos suddenly showed up, and now he's like super evil?" I laughed quietly walking over to glumshanks "well if it makes you feel any better I don't know what I did but I got separated from my portal master... So—"

I was cut off when glumshanks grabbed my shoulder "That's great! Quickly! Come with me! Kaos kept mentioning how he was going to 'get back his elf from that witch portal master' so this is perfect! Maybe you can talk some sense into him!"

Quickly being dragged by glumshanks through some hallways, and secret doors and walkways we reached a giant room, where kaos was just standing in the middle of laughing at something "Um lord Kaos, sir... I brought you company?" Kaos turned around quickly, he looked awful, his skin was a sickly purple, and he looked like he was in pain "Glumshanks! I told you! Don't bother—"

Kaos stopped mid sentence as he seen me, he walked over suspicious "Glumshanks leave us go back to distracting the portal master with a game of SkyStones." And with that glumshanks took off quickly as kaos just stood there baffled "You're back? She let you come back? Or is this a sick joke." I walked over, embracing kaos as tears fell from my eyes like waterfalls, and he embraced back tightly

"Kaos why'd you do this? You knew I'd be back eventually the portal master can overreact sometimes but—" Kaos pulled away and looked me in the eyes he looked incredibly angry "Over react? You were gone for a month and a half! I only did this for you! I did all of this for you! I was actually planning on just staying with these sky LOSERS for you and then she ripped you out of my hands and now I'm going to get revenge!"

[Kaos pov]
I looked down at the elf, I haven't seen her in forever and she comes here and tries to defend the portal master? The portal master is our enemy and she literally can't see it "Elf why're you here? If you're just going to defend that stupid poser master?" I walked away from her and she followed "Kaos please! I didn't know how long I'd been gone for! When she takes you out of this world we go back to being our figurine forms and we just watch, can't move or nothing, and we literally lose track of time, I'm sorry, I didn't know you did all this for me"

I looked back at her and she was smiling warmly at me "Too bad the portal master is almost here with her Sky-loser. Otherwise-" i stopped myself and just turned away, grabbing my controller and pressed the red button to speak to the portal master through her portal "Guess what poser master! I've got your Elf again! Say hi elf!" She froze barely mustering out a hello, I laughed "And guess what! I didn't even have to leave my evil hiding place! She got lost when you foolishly walked away from her! HAHAHAH! And now since I've got your elf, I'll make you into a trophy! And you can watch us as I, KAOOSS!! Get your prized elf all your myself forever! And! All of Skylands! HAHAH!"

I pushed the button again to stop communicating with the portal master and turned to my elf "Maybe leave that taking over all of skylands out of the plan.." she chucked nervously and I scoffed I'm so sick of how goody she is "I've got a better idea! How about you stop being so goody hero sky loser and we just rule in peace, besides it's not like I'm going to kill everyone." She looked nervous and started backing away "Come back here, you're acting like I'm going to hit you."

She stopped and looked at me, I reached her and pulled her into another embrace "Kaos, why don't you just stop? If you lose, the portal master can't find her trap crystal for you? You'll be sent to cloudcracker prison." I stopped and looked at her for a second "Don't you have it?" Backing up from my elf as she began checking all her pockets, she pulled out the trap from her pocket and looked up at me "I forgot I had this on me.."

We both laughed, and suddenly as I looked through the portal masters television device to see what she was doing, she seemed to be looking for something, but was growing ever more irritated, I smiled widely as it gave me more time before I fought her, I stopped and looked over at the record player in the corner of the room, walking over to it and playing the record that was already on it from the golden queen, looking around the place earlier I noticed a bunch of stupid stuff like this, but why not dance with my elf before our final battle.

Elf's head perked up when she heard the music, I smiled and walked over to her and grabbed her hands, and pulling her to me, I gently put
My hand on her waist and taking her hand, as her free hand rested on my shoulder.

Slowly we slow danced around the room, and elf smiled at me through her mask "Golden queen has some odd taste in music." I laughed a little at her remark and she laughed with me. I stared at her smiling warmly at her as we continued until we reached back into the center of the room, with the song slowly ending. I sighed and smiled once more resting my head ontop of her head hearing heavy footsteps approach the room. Her skyloser friends we're here.

"Oh no! It's the skylanders! Their here... Okay! Okay! I give up!"

I watched holding back laughter "HA! HAHAHAHA! Fooled you! I was totally kidding back there sky losers! Anyway!" I said still laughing as elf stood behind me quietly laughing "You're too late! There is nothing you can do from stopping me from capturing your loser poser master! Nothing!"

I smirked floating into the air growing gigantic, becoming more purple, my eyes becoming all white like elf, the bottom of my robes tearing as my legs became like the bottom of a trap crystal, I laughed loudly watching as the poser master prepared her sky losers.

[Cue in kaos battle]
