Chapter Eleven

Opening the door and looking up at the portal master she was smiling warmly at me "My dear, what's the matter with you and kaos?" I scoffed at her and sat down on my bed

"You ruined everything! Now I can't even trust kaos! You made him go berserk! And now things are just different." I sighed and put my hands over my face tears threatening to fall

"Good."

My head shot up, the portal master with a wicked grin on her face "im glad this all worked out in my favor, see elf, as long as I get my way in this world everything's just fine— and if someone steps out of place and tries to take away my things, I simply treat them like a defeated chess pice and throw them off my board. It's simple really. You're mine and now kaos is out of my way."

She began laughing wickedly, walking out of my room closing the door peering in "Don't make me do something we'll both regret. Just play by my rules and everything will be fine."

She slammed the door and tears flooded my face, she planned all of this? She did this? What did she mean by 'play by her rules?' I looked out my window seeing she was off again with the golden queen I scoffed, what'll happen when she breaks up with you? You going to just delete her code? Or imprison her in your world.

I quickly fixed myself up and opened my bedroom door, now that I knew she caused kaos to do this, I fully believed he did it for me, if anyone is the true evil of this world it's her, pretending to be the saint the lovely portal master who helps us, now I simply seen she was no better than a dark portal master, she was literally a poser.

Speed walking down the hallways looking for kaos, he had to be around here somewhere, I reached the front of the academy it was full of Skylanders, asking around if anyone had seen him.

I had eventually made my way to the training grounds, looking around when a black figure caught my attention, kaos had walked into the small cottage,  Persephone was busy helping people upgrade.

I speed walked over to the small cottage and looked at the door, taking in a deep breath I knocked. I waited for a few seconds when the door flew open, kaos had looked irritated, sad almost "Kaos I—" I was cut off when I was pulled into the cottage quickly and the door closed, and locked behind me. Turning around seeing kaos tower over me

"Why are you here? To tell me once again that this isn't going to work out?" He took a step closer, and I backed up "Or maybe to tell me how there's no more trust between us." His eyes shot daggers at me, his anger ready to bubble over "Or are you here to ask me if I've lessened from my taking over skylands." I backed into the wall behind me and he stepped closer throwing his hands on the wall trapping me "go on tell me which is it."

"Kaos! I didn't come here for a fight I came here to tell you I was wrong!" He laughed loudly and got closer to my face "Oh and I suppose you're going to blame it on the portal master and how she forbids our love!" Taken aback I grabbed his face and kissed him passionately, he froze, absolutely baffled, he slowly melted into the kiss grabbing my shoulders, "I was wrong to accuse you of what you did, I was so upset I couldn't see that you simply were trying to help me." He looked at me shook.

"But what suddenly changed your mind, just a few hours ago you resented me, you basically told me to piss off." I laughed and embraced him "I need to tell you something important, something I found out."

We both went upstairs and sat on the bed and I took a deep breath.

"While I was in my room, I was thinking about us when the portal master suddenly came to my room, she told me 'im glad this all worked out in my favor, see elf, as long as I get my way in this world everything's just fine— and if someone steps out of place and tries to take away my things, I simply treat them like a defeated chess pice and throw them off my board. It's simple really. You're mine and now kaos out of my way.' And after she left I thought about when you went and Traptainiumed yourself, she put all that into play, and that's why I couldn't figure out why I couldn't decide what I wanted to do because deep down, I knew you were innocent! Because Kaos I-"

I stopped and looked deeply into his eyes "Because I love you kaos." He gasped a little and tears welled up into his eyes "Elf, I'm so glad you understand, and I love you as well more than you can imagine." He embraced me tightly and I embraced him
