Chapter Ten

Towards the end of the battle between Kaos, and the portal master I watched as kaos fled the battle and got super close to a open vortex, he reached his hand through and suddenly laughed loudly as he pulled someone out of the vortex, he turned around everyone gasped loudly as they seen the portal master "Welcome back Portal Master! Miss me?! HAHAH!"

We all watched as kaos flew to the middle of the bate field and dropped her, she landed hard into Golden queens arms as we brought a few traps with us from the portal masters world, including golden queen "Glad you see you drop in Portal master."

Portal master looked around seeing doom raiders we put in traps, and a few trap masters she had thrown into the world throughout the fight "Glad to be here, but I was hoping to come back when he was defeated." We all laughed, kaos prepared another sword attack and everyone began jumping all around to avoid getting hit, Kaos, throughout the battle had grown giant black wings, and two giant Traptainium swords, he was running out of health quickly though so this should be over soon, "Portal master? Use one of your blast attacks! Or you can't because you didn't come through your portal!?"

Portal master was running around trying not to get hit, she only had a couple hundred health like us and if she lost it all she'd just die, it's like that movie she told us about 'If you die outside your game, you don't respawn' basically she'd just die. "I think so one second!"

We all watched as the portal masters hands built up with a energy, it was a emerald green color. She'd only use it when she absolutely had to because it drained her energy quickly when she used it "Kaos!" She called out "This has to end here!" She rose her hands and pointed the blast attack at kaos, we'd hoped this would take the rest of his health, like I said earlier he was almost out of health, kaos yelled as the blast attack hit him and knocked him into the air, everyone cheered as he came crashing down back in his original body, small fat headed kaos.

[Kaos defeated]
"Okay, you ready to send him off to CloudCracker prison guys? I couldn't find his trap anywhere." She looked a bit bummed out about having to send him away "Wait! Portal master, I have the trap! Remember you gave it to me?" Portal masters head shot to StealthElf as she ran over with the trap in her hand, giving it to her portal master "Alright then, once I put in this trap, kaos, you're going to explain yourself." Everyone laughed as the trap opened its vortex, kaos looked up and high pitch screamed like he did when he seen a clock after he was kidnapped and brought 10.000 years into the future.

"What sorcery is this?! Ah!" Kaos turned around and pointed at the void above him angrily "Hey! Knock it off! Put me doown!!!" Everyone watched as kaos began getting sucked into the vortex "You haven't seen the last of me!!!"

The trap was kind of just floating in the air like it did for every other doom raiders we've caught, and kaos spoke through the trap "Note to self, if you ever find yourself face to face with a giant swirling vortex, RUN!!"

[Kaos Trapped]

"So, you want me to be good now, is that it? Eh?" The trap shrunk back to its original size and fell from the sky, being caught by the golden queen, "Portal master I believe this belongs to you." She walked over with a smug look on her face, and I watched as my portal master was literally blushing as she took her hand, and gave her the crystal "Yep- thanks golden queen."

[Cutscene dialog]
"Wowzers! It's like the little shrimp finally got what's coming to him!" Flynn shouted out back to Cali "Serves him right for taking on a real portal master."

"Don't worry! I'll save you master!" The cutscene shifted to glumshanks pulling a bunch of levers trying to stop the Traptainium weapon form exploding trying to protect kaos until the very end
"Warning Traptainium overload, initiating complete and total explosion." Glumshanks stopped and sighed "of course you are."

We all watched as the Traptainium weapon exploded into a blinding white light, restoring the islands that were taken and captured in the process.

"Hey Flynn you're just in time to see buzzes speech!" Flynn looked at Cali and sarcasticly spoke "Oh, joy. Yeah I'm still not so sure about that guy"

"Okay! Took a while, but, seems we can finally get this party started!" Buzz cleared his throat as he walked into the stage in front of the academy doors "without further adue I'd like to officially dedicate this academy to the skylanders! Who've not only saved our butts from the notorious bacon stealers, the doom raiders, and Kaos! Of course, it wasn't just the skylanders who saved us"

"Oh here we go! This is where he takes all the credit." Cali looked over at Flynn, he obviously didn't like buzz "Flynn you don't know that."

"I'm speaking of our very own, captain Flynn!!" The crowd erupted into cheer and claps as they cheered on Flynn who was taken aback "Why don't you get in up here and help me dedicate this place?" Flynn walked up proudly and stood next to buzz "Well I, hahaha, this is all so sudden, I, I didn't really have a speech planned..."

Flynn pulled out a long paper and started reading it, buzz and Cali looked at eachother rolling their eyes at Flynn "We only got about 5 seconds kid, better hurry this up"

"Uh, boom?" Flynn said quickly "Good one, Boom! Haha! I hear by declare the Skylander academy open!"

I was watching from the academy window, I had decided not to go to buzzes speech, or that gigantic party that was being held. The portal master had gone off with the golden queen a while ago and hadn't returned yet.

I was avoiding Kaos I was still devastated that he betrayed us like this but it's whatever, now that the academy was officially dedicated to the Skylanders, portal master threw all of her Skylander figurines into her portal and now skylands academy was going to be busy training and readying skylanders for battle.

I shook my head and sighed. Walking away from the window, I head heading back to my room, i was going to pack to leave the academy for a bit, I opened my room door and gasped loudly when a giant Bouquet was shoved into my face "Elf please forgive me I'm sorry for what I did truly! I shouldn't have betrayed you like that!"

"Kaos? What— how did you even get in here I had the door locked!" Glaring back at kaos as he laughed nervously "I, used my powers?" I scoffed and shoved him out of my room locking the door behind me as he was pounding on it.

"Elf please! I'm sorry just give me another chance!" Quickly packing my stuff, I felt tears run down my face, my heart wanted to forgive him so bad but I couldn't that trust isn't there anymore, I don't believe he's sorry I think he just knows he messed up and didn't actually learn. He never does how many times have we had to stop him from almost taking over Skylands?

[knock, knock.]

My head perked up as a soft knocking on the door caught my attention "Kaos that better not still be you."

"Elf, it's me, Portal master, let me in, we need to talk."
