Chapter 45

Tharn's POV

It's been 2 days since it happened and I've been making some progress.

But whenever Nina touches me I need to hold Type's hand. He brings me a relaxing feeling.

Now we are walking around the park, we were bored and decided to get some fresh air. So we went to the nearest park and walked around, we have a little backpack filled with food and drinks.

The view was very nice. I really love the nature, it always gave me the feeling I can do anything, even when things are tough.

But now I have Type that brings me those feelings, its like he is my own nature.

Type's POV

Things with Tharn are going really great, he has been improving.  He can let my mom touch him a little but he needs to hold my hand.

Although I'm a little scared because his birthday is in 2 days and my friends are planning to surprise him. I don't really know if he's ready for it. I tried to tell them that it's to soon but they won't listen.

I also got a little surprise for him. I've been working on it for sometime, like when he needed to go to his second appointment I didn't had a assignment to do. I was working on his birthday gift.

I think he is forgetting about his birthday, he didn't mention it.

I want to ask him how he celebrated his birthday but I don't want him to suspect anything, so I will ask him after.

Now we are walking around in the park and he really seems to enjoy it.

We walked some more until we reached a little lake. We sat down and set the food out.

It felt like a little date. The sun was also setting. He was glowing and I couldn't help but take a picture of him.

I have a lot of pictures of him that he doesn't know about. Like when he sleeps or when he isn't looking. He always looks so great.

My parents are also buying presents for his birthday, they wanted to do something special for him because it's his first birthday with us after a really long time.

He really is the most precious person for us. Nobody can hurt him anymore and think they will get away with it.

Me and my parents don't have a lot of patience and we are hot tempered.

"Type?" I heard Tharn.
"Huh, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing but you were so lost in thought and your facial expressions changed a lot, from smiling to glaring. I was getting scared a bit."
"Ow, you don't need to worry, I was just thinking silly things."
"Ah okay, I'm hungry."
"Me too, let's eat."

So we started eating, we were feeding each other and talked. And while eating there came some ducks to us.

Tharn smiled and went near them, I wanted to hold him back but he was too fast.

He went to them and started to pet them. I thought they would bite but they just enjoyed it.

I was really amazed, he then picked it up and went back to me.
He sat down and started to feed it. I was sitting there speechless.

He looked at me and chuckled.

"What's funny?" I asked confused.
"Your face is funny."
"Hey, that's mean."
"Yeah but it's true, you looked like you saw the weirdest thing in your whole life. "
"Well who wouldn't be if they saw that."
"Saw what?"
"I thought the duck would bite you because they don't like human contact."
"Oh, no need to worry, this is my friend. I found him a year ago when I was walking home. He was hurt so I took him with me and took care off him until he got better. We made a bond and I would visit him from time to time. I'm happy he doesn't forget about me."
"Wow, thats really surprising."
"I know, at first I thought that he would bite but he was nice."
"You are so nice that even animals can't be angry at you."
"Thats cheesy."
"Yes."

We both laughed and Tharn started playing with the duck.

We stayed there until it's becoming dark. We then said our goodbye to the duck.

I still find it a bit weird but it's lovely.

We walked home and were greeted by my parents.
We then got upstairs and refreshed ourselves. Then we sat on the bed and Tharn sang a bit. He rarely does it but he has such a nice voice, I could listen to him forever.
