Max.

"Why so tense baby? It's just me." He whispers seductively, except to me it sounds like nails on a chalk board.

"MASON!!!" I scream.

"Shut the hell up! I'm not afraid to hurt you or anyone else in here." He threatens lowly.

"Paisley, baby, where are you?" Mason screams.

I begin to scream but am quickly cut off by Max putting his hand over my mouth. He begins to drag me away when the smell of blood hits my nose.

I let my wolf come out to see who is hurt. I can't help but have a bad feeling about this. I turn on my wolf senses and quickly scan the room for injured pack members. The site I'm met with nearly kills me.

Jamie.

Jamie is on the floor in a puddle of blood.

NOOOO!!!! JAMIE!!! I can't help but let the tears flow and scream muffled cries into Max's hand.

He can't be dead. I was suppose to protect him! I was suppose to raise him with my dad. And now he's gone.

Sadly, my wolf can't take it either. She retreats to the back if my mind, sulking over her baby brother.

The pain and depression I feel blocks out all the commotion going on around me. I'm still being dragged out by Max but at this point, there's nothing my wolf or I can do.

I shiver when I feel the cool night air hit my skin. My body feels like its shutting down. The last thing I feel is being lifted into the air and set down in some sort of car.

Lord please me!!! Please help Jamie.

Mason's P.O.V.

"MASON!!!" I hear Paisley scream a heart wrenching, ear splitting scream. My heart instantly breaks and tears fill my eyes.

"Paisley, baby, where are you?" I scream back.

'Must find mate.' My wolf howls in my head.

I let my wolf take over and use our wold senses to find my baby.

I begin looking around the room and can't find her. However, what I do find breaks my already broken heart farther.

Jamie.

In a puddle of blood. I rush over to him and pick him up. I turn around and sniff our Alpha Alarik, but I also catch something else. Someone else.

Max.

NOOOO!!!! PAISLEY!!!

I quickly mindlink my pack of the situation at hand.

With Jamie still in my arms I run outside where I can still smell Max's scent. He has her. He has my mate and for that, I will kill him.

No one touches her but me. I will snap his neck and make him regret ever meeting me and my princess.

I need her back beside me now! I barely make it in time to see a black van pulling away.

Damn it!!! "Paisley!!!!!!!" I scream but it comes out more of a howl.
