"Come on, just a little further!" Mason says while dragging me into the backyard.

"You said we were taking a tour of the house not the yard." I honestly don't mind being outside. In fact I love it but its been a long couple days and I just wanna lay down.

"Ok. Here we are!" He says excitedly.

I look around and I must say I'm pretty DISAPPOINTED! There is nothing out here but a deck and some big willow trees.

I mean yeah, the backyard is huge but there is nothing really special about it.

"Ok. It's cool." I lamely state.

I look over to Mason to see he is strangely...amused by my reaction.

"Follow me." He takes my hand again and starts walking towards the trees.

"Mason where are-" He cuts me off by shushing me.

Ahhhh hell nah!

"Mason Riddle don't-" He cuts me off. Again with the cutting me off and shushing.

"Just please shut up and follow me." He orders impatiently.

"Ok. Sorry." I reply a bit shaken up. He's never used that tone with me. He's always playful or romantic, but never demanding?

"I'm sorry. Its just I've been waiting to show you this ever since I found out we were mates and I can't wait any longer." He apologizes and pulls me through the trees and into a clearing full of flowers.

"Mason, wh-what is this place?" I stutter at its beauty.

There are flowers everywhere. Purple, pink, blue, and white. This place is absolutely gorgeous and it's hidden away behind the trees.

"I used to come here all the time before I moved in with my uncle. I came here to think or to get away from everything." Mason says sheepishly.

Mason moved in with his uncle Jack when he was eight. His uncle was apart of my dad's pack so we ended up going to school together. He told me his parents wanted him to have better schooling, but we all know now it was really because of the rogue attacks.

"You're the only other person who knows about this place. I've never showed anyone else." He says and turns me to face him.

I secretly love how he has never showed this place to another girl or anyone for that matter. It makes me feel...special.

"Paisley I know we never really got along as kids but that doesn't matter. We're grown up now and we're mates" He says and takes ahold of my hands and intertwines our fingers. "I couldn't picture my life without you. Please just give me a chance to prove I can be a good mate before you reject me." He begs and looks at me with those puppy dog eyes.

"Mason, who ever said anything about rejecting you?" I reassure him.

Instead of answering he closes the gap between us and kisses me gently. I expected him to do that so I immediately kiss back.

I missed his kiss so much! It feels like coming home after being gone for a year. It send tingles up and down my body and I can't help but moan into it.
