prologue: why here

POV Ceris

"Ceris? what is all this about?" Stella asked, "Why ask the three of us here?" She pointed to Rain and Charlie.

"Because, I have learned a lot, and things have happened, I need to get it off my chest, now where to start," I said. I held up a book, "It all started while I was reading this book,"

years later, but days before at the same time. 

I stood there standing over the flaming ruin of Frostbourne as the last of the army was destroyed. I know Ser Patrick and a few others would have escaped. I watched as the Nether king and Queen marched forward.

I saw the last person standing, holding the line, Stella standing as the nether army marched, she tried to take on the Nether king on her own, "you have to let me save her!" I said turning to the man behind me. 

the man in the cream coat with the vegetables pinned to his coat, "you've done enough damage already," the doctor answered. "You couldn't if you wanted to anyway, I extended the TARDIS Shield, you can't teleport out of it now," he pointed to the blue box behind me.

the Doctor walked over to me, "It hurts to watch myself, but this is the price Ceris, the consequences to your actions, had you not lied to me, got me to change your past when I tried to fix it," 

I watched as a netherite sword stabbed into Stella, I looked away unable to watch, "Why are you making me watch this?" I asked, "have I not seen enough LOST enough?" 

the doctor walked back to the blue box, "I can still fix this, Ceris, help do so and we can...none of them have to die, I'm giving you the chance to help fix it, so what do you say," He asked.

I looked back at the battleground then at the Doctor, "I caused all this, I changed everything, I've changed fate, why offer me this?" 

the Doctor slimed, "Ceris, I gave you the chance of doing this, the chance to save your mother, now I'm giving you the chance to fix the mistake," he opened the door to his ship, "Now, how about we save the world?"
