It had been three very long days for the Cullen family as they waited for Lilian to wake. Bella wasn't very upset for the news but more like envious that Lili was turned and she wasn't. Rosalie was more concerned on how they were going to tell Caius what was happening because he would definitely rush over and they couldn't have that.
Demetri found himself near the Cullen house and he stood on top of the branches in a nearby tree and looked closer he spotted the pale fragile body of his friend Lilian. Emmett and Jasper sensed another presence and immediately rushed out to track it, Demetri jumped off and ran but Emmett had tackled him before he could go any further.
"It's not what you think! She's in transition! She's not dead!" Emmett shouted, Demetri threw him off and into a tree before brushing himself off and standing up correctly. Jasper had helped up his brother but they kept cautious of Demetri. "Did she chose this?" He asked slowly, catching the brothers attention.
"Yes, she begged me to change her. We think she wanted to do it for him." Jasper explained, Demetri looked over at him and glared. "If she isn't awake in the next hour, I'm telling my masters and they'll deal with your family. Caius will deal with you." he said to Jasper before speeding off into the wilderness. Jasper and Emmett both sighed frustratedly and ran back to the house. Rosalie looked over in concern for her husband only to get a reassuring look from him, "What happened?" Carlisle asked in worry, Jasper let out a frustrated sigh and walked back over to Alice.
"Demetri threatened to go to the Volturi if she isn't awake in an hour. He said if she doesn't wake up then Caius will come after me." Jasper explained, Alice frowned and looked at Esme and Carlisle as if asking 'what do we do?' and they understood the look. "How are we supposed to know when she will wake? We can't rush the process." Edward said, Bella faking a concerned look for her sister when she really didn't feel that bad. Part of her would be relieved if Lili never woke up because she'd be gone but the other part was worried that the Cullens would be killed for it.
"Don't worry, she's gonna wake up. And if Demetri goes to the Volturi then we'll explain everything and hope Caius understands." Carlisle said, they all nodded but everyone felt unsure about it. About forty minutes went by and Lillian's heartbeat was no longer there, and that made Rosalie look up from her book and frown. Lili's wounds slowly began to close and heal. Rosalie got up and walked over to the room, taking a peak inside she could see Lili's body shining like diamonds from the light in the room.
Rosalie smiled sadly, never wishing this kind of life for Lilian but then again Lili chose this life and she had to now live with it. Lilian's eyes flashed open and Rosalie held back saying anything to the rest of the family. Lili slowly looked around the room, her vision ten times better than before and her eyes went from their beautiful hazel to a beautiful bright ruby red. Her hair was at it's natural wavy and beautiful, gentle and soft unlike before when she had to use products to get her hair like that but now it was just naturally beautiful.
