Chapter 12 (Give Your Heart A Break)

Lianne Angel Victorino's POV

It's been awhile, babalik na rin ako sa sa amin, I'm sure my baby sister is mad at me, hindi pa kasi ako naiintindihan ni Rhianne, she doesn't understand all the sacrifices I have to put up with just for this family, for the salvation of all ancient secrets that mommy has to pass down on me. I still remember the day when I was looking at her for answers about the book she doesn't want us to have or read. Siguro kung nakinig lang ako, kung hindi lang umusbong ang curiosity ko, eh 'di sana hindi ko nalang naiwan si Rhianne, sana andun ako 'nung panahong nasasaktan siya ng lubusan, I still thank her friends though, kasi kahit ang arte ng kapatid ko, kahit saksakan ng kaweirduhan eh hindi pa rin nila iniwan.

[Flash Back]

Lianne: "Mommy! What book is that? Can I read it for baby Rhianne?"
Mom: "Baby, you'll have this in the right time, but for now, don't even think about looking at this book and reading it's contents"
Lianne: "But mommy, why?"
Mom: "Just do as I say Lianne"

What is mommy hiding from the book? Maybe I should really see what's inside that book!

Later that night, I sneaked out and found the book she doesn't want us to read, when I finally opened it, I was surprised of its contents and symbols and everything about it.

Mom: "I know your curiosity might get the best of you Lianne"

[End of Flash Back]

Hindi ko pa rin nakakalimutan 'yun hanggang ngayon, naalala ko pa rin lahat.

I came back for my sister and the decision that her friends keep on ranting about. She's just a child I know, pero alam ko rin na makabubuti sa kanya ang desisyong kanyang nagawa. Daddy contacted me that day, that very day when Rhianne made up her mind and asked for me, I felt sorry for her, bakit? Kasi wala ako sa tabi niya when she needed me the most, when she needs a sister to cry on. Buti nalang at andun sila Elle, Christoff, Drace at Anthony, kahit mga loko-loko 'yun, mahal na mahal nila ang baby sister namin. Ibinilin ko sa kanilang apat si Rhianne, at sa kanilang apat, si Anthony ang pinakaprotective, si Elle naman, ang pinakamaarte pagdating kay Rhianne, magkapatid nga silang dalawa, no DNA Tests needed.

[Flash Back]

Dad: "Lianne, your sister decided to follow your footsteps"

Up until now, hindi ako makapaniwala sa sinabi ni daddy. Siguro nga kasi, ayaw ni Rhianne noon na pag-usapan ang kung ano man ang nangyari ay ginagawa ko.

Being in a state of broken heart, it helps you think for the better, it helps you make greater decisions in your life, it makes you feel braver and smarter.

As I walked goin' to the tube dahil finally, tapos na ang 8hour flight ko, nag ring ang phone ko

***Elle Victorino calling...***

Sasagutin ko ba? He must've known, I told dad na ipaalam sa mga kapatid kong lalaki, but never tell Rhianne about my homecoming I have to surprise her. Alam kong nagtatampo pa rin sa akin ang kapatid ko, kasi hindi man lang niya magawang mag text o tumawag sa akin eh.

So dahil hindi ko siya sinagot, eh nag iwan nalang siya ng message? May utak din naman pala minsan itong kambal kong ito eh, ewan ko nga paano kami naging blood related ni Elle, ayoko ngang tinatawag siyang kapatid dahil sa kaartehan niya, akala mo naman ang gwapo eh hindi naman. Tsss..
