Caught in the Middle (Ben X Reader)

Chapter 13

"Get off the couch and come with me to the studio today," My brother says looking down at me. 

I glared up at him from my spot on his couch. The same stop I had been in for weeks because I was too depressed to move. The same spot I had been in since I found out I was never gonna see Ben again. I look back towards the tv that was playing one of my favorite shows ignoring the pleas of my brother to get off the couch.

"That's it!" My brother says as he grabs my ankles. He quickly yanks me off the couch and onto the floor. 

"Woods!" I yell.

"You stink, you need to eat, and you are being lazy" Woods says as he drags me down the hall by my ankles. 

"Let me go Woodland" I yell kicking my legs to get out of his grasp. 

"Not until you agree to shower and come to the studio with me," He says dragging me to the bathroom. 

"Okay fine!" I say finally agreeing. "Go pull pick out an outfit for me" 

Woods lets go and run down the hall to go pull an outfit from my bag. I continue to lay on the floor where he left me as I stare at the ceiling. Once I hear him heading back I start to sit up. Woods drops a dress and underwear into my lap. 

"A dress? Really?" I ask looking up at him.

"Yes, a dress, you told me to pick an outfit out so I did" Woods says.

"Ugh okay fine," I say getting up off the floor.

I walk into the bathroom, turn the lights on, and close the door. I start up the shower before stripping my clothes off. I look at myself in the mirror. Bags decorated my lower lash line and I looked pale. I was also alot skinner now. I groan as I run my hands through my greasy hair. I step into the shower letting the hot water run over me. I scrub my body down before moving to wash my hair. I had to admit the shower made me feel a bit better. 

Once my shower was over, I quickly dried off and put on the clothes Woods had picked out. The dress Woods pulled was one of my favorites. It was a darker shade of red and had a flowy skirt that went to my knees. I smile smoothing the fabric out as I remember this was also one of Ben's favorite dresses as well. I look in the mirror seeing I had a bit more color on my face. I do my hair before walking out of the bathroom to see Woods waiting for me in the living room.

"Feel better?" He asks me standing up holding out a pair of shoes to me. 

I nod "Yes thank you," I say taking the shoes from him and sliding them on.

Woods and I head to the studio. Everyone was so happy to finally see me out of the house for once. Spending time with the team made me feel a lot better that was until we found a mannequin in Matt's chair in his office. The rest of the day we spent following this mannequin around the studios since it kept disappearing and reappearing in different areas studios.

We were currently in Red Base looking for the mannequin there. My arms were wrapped around myself since I was extremely freaked out at this point. We headed towards the warehouse where the mountaineer was stored. We end up finding the mannequin sitting in the mountaineer.

I listen to the other talks not noticing the footsteps coming behind me. Sam pans the camera over to me without me noticing. Hand touch my sides causing me to scream. I quickly clench my fist and slam it into the person behind me. My hand stings from hitting the mask sitting on the person's face.

"Son of a-" I start to say cluching my throbbing hand.

"Ouch. Didn't think I needed to be hit that hard for getting you out of jail." I hear a familiar voice says.

Tears filled my eyes as I look up to meet the familiar reddish eyes. I immediately throw myself into his arms. Ben reaches down and picks me up off the ground wrapping my arms around his waist.

"Oh my god. You here! How are you here?" I ask burying my face in his neck.

"You're brother and Matt convinced them to let me go along as I wear a monitor" Ben explais.

I move so I could look over at my brother and Matt. "Thank you" I say to them.

Woods smiles "Anything for you and anything to get you off my couch" He says jokingly.

I stick my tongue out at him smiling.

"Do you mind if I take her?" Ben asks.

"Go for it" Woods says.

Ben nods carrying me out of Red Base.

"Im still mad at you" I say to him as I cling to him.

"You have every right to be." Ben says moving me slight so I was looking at him. "But I did what i thought was best for you"

"I know. That's one of the reasons why I love you" I say moving his mask kissing him.

"I love you too" Ben says after pulling out of the kiss. "Now let's go home"
