Jimin works in UCI Science Library, where he meets Jungkook, who comes there every week to read latest science journals. They don't talk much. A short greeting, a few polite smiles is all they have going until one day Jungkook approaches him with an inquiry.
"Hi...um, do you know when you'll have the annual review of psychology?" Jungkook shifts from one foot to the other.
Jimin checks the system, finding no updates. "I'm sorry. You'll have to check later," he informs.
"Oh, okay." Jungkook nods. "Um...if you don't mind, can you ah, update me once you have it?" He is extremely nervous for some reason.
Jimin agrees because it's a genuine request and Jungkook isn't the only one who has asked him for such small favors. It's easy for them to check for something instead of having to come to the library in person every time. So Jimin doesn't mind.
"Sure," he agrees and hands him a notepad to write his number.
Jungkook writes the number, smiles prettily before he leaves. If Jimin's heart flutters a little, he doesn't show.
