Come on, dance in the rain with me one last time, like the first time we met.

Soobin can recall the memories of their first met, in the rain romantically like in a movie. He doesn't know how Yeonjun felt at that time, but for Soobin, he felt hope shining into his life.

Being the prince of the kingdom, Soobin never experienced freedom. Even his daily life is scheduled, just to turn him into a perfect prince. Everything is scheduled, what time he should wake up, go to school, practice archery, meet his "friends", and so on. Soobin thought that it's normal, to be locked up in the palace, everything managed by his parents. The king and the Queen, good leader of the kingdom but not good parents for Soobin.

Soobin grown up day by day, he started to get bored of his life. He doesn't want to be controlled anymore. Every weeken he need to go to balls, but he envied how the commoners can go out and play in the field with their real friends.

One day, he was forced to the ball again. He disobey his parents for the first time, running away from the palace.

That day, Soobin enjoyed his run under the soft rain, he liked the feeling of freedom, he liked to be himself.

He walked into someone who's also walking in the palace. With a bang the two fell on the ground with Soobin on top of the man.

When their eyes met, Soobin's heart stopped dramatically. He was taken back by the guy's handsomeness and the feeling he gave Soobin. It's homelike, it's the feeling of safeness.

The guy helped Soobin to get up and noticed who Soobin is by his clothes. Those fancy clothes for the ball, it will only be the prince to get to wear those.

"I'm Yeonjun." The guy, actually a knight who worked for the palace, bowed to Soobin who's blushing.

"It will be my pleasure if I get to dance with you, prince Soobin?"

Soobin still remembers how Yeonjun take his hand, wrapped his arms around Soobin's waist and they started to spin in circles in the garden.

Under the rain, the two get wet just by a few minutes by they didnt care at all. Dancing in the rain is cold but Soobin felt so warm and happy. Yeonjun, probably feeling the same with Soobin, he have the most bright smile on his face.

He cannot forget that feeling, the feeling of falling in love, with Yeonjun.

"Come on, dance in the rain with me one last time, like the first time we met. "

This time, there's absence of smile on Soobin's pretty face, but tears takes its place. It's hard to identify whether it's rain or tears because they're standing in the garden, without an umbrella. But you can tell from Soobin's bitter expression. The boy is heart broken and hopeless.

As same as Soobin, Yeonjun doesn't seems well. He smiled bitterly and took Soobin's hands and lead the boy to dance. Again dancing under the rain, it hits differently when the two are heartbroke.

Joy is no longer exist, sadness instead.

"I can't live without you" Soobin whispers, feeling Yeonjun's arms around him. He thrown himself onto the knight, arms around Yeonjun's shoulders. "Me too, my prince. But we both know that we have to part away."

"Maybe we can run away?" Soobin knew that it's impossible, and it's not the right decision. He know that he couldn't run away, he couldn't run away from his kingdom. But his parent is forcing him to marry the prince from a near by country.

What Soobin's parents doesn't know is, their son already fell in love with a knight, and it's a forbidden love.

"Just remember I love you. You're my only love." Yeonjun said with tears running down his face. He never cried so hard. He cannot bear the pain to watch Soobin marry a guy who's not him. It's like thousands of knifes stabbing his heart.

Soobin's feeling the same. He never felt so hurt and hopeless even before he met Yeonjun. It's the most painful when you get something and lost it.

They hugged and kissed in the rain. The taste of salty tears and rain mixed in the kiss and makes the kiss more bittersweet. Soobin closed his eyes tightly, to feel Yeonjun's warmth for once more. Just once more. He knew that he wouldn't feel so safe and warm forever in his life after he leave Yeonjun.

"Maybe in next life, I can be with you."

Soobin didn't marry to the prince. Instead, there's a new grave in the graveyard of the noble, and a knight kneeling in front of it everyday bringing flowers and decorate them all around the grave.
