∭mute∭ ✑ ~ Yeonbin

"Hey newbie" A guy on class, named Jihoo or jihoon or whatever, sit in front of Soobin placing his hands on Soobin's shoulders. Soobin flinched and backed away, not daring to look at the boy.

Jihoon chuckles. " you're shy huh, Are you? Subin or Is it Soobin?" Soobin just kept ignoring him at buried his nose into the book he was reading. "Looks like you're a nerd"Jihoon pift as he reach his hand, grabbed the book from Soobin and throw it away on the ground.

Soobin rise his head up and looked at Jihoon. Silent. He stood up and picked up  his book, and slowly walked away. Jihoon grown in annoy. " a weirdo huh" Jihoon go back to his friends.

"Hey Yeonjun!" Jihoon shouted as everyone cover their ears with frustration. "What!" Yeonjun shouted back, totally annoyed by his friend's loud voice. "You are not at school yesterday, our class come a new transfer called Soobin, he's such a weirdo." Jihoon pointed at the boy in black hoodies in the corner of the canteen reading. Yeonjun watched the boy as he started to pack up his things. "What's so weird for that boy""I had never heard him speak, he doesn't ask nor answer everyone." Jihoon roll his eyes. Yeonjun stare at the boy, Soobin, who is walking out the canteen.

Days passed by, Yeonjun started to pay attention to the boy, he found Soobin kind of good looking, his features are soft and pure like a bunny, yet his cuteness while pouting totally melts Yeonjun. Soobin never spoke, he barely open his mouth, expect when eating or drinking. He never answer teacher's questions while the teachers never ask him questions. That makes Yeonjun kind of curious, why are the teachers avoiding to ask Soobin questions.

As he finally decide to reach the boy and start a conversation.

"Umm hey! Soobin right?" Yeonjun nervously approaches Soobin who was sitting alone in the classroom. Soobin nodded his head as his eyes still glued on his book. Yeonjun gulps and pick up all his courage " wanna be friends?". Soobin rise his head with a shock expression.

Friend?

Soobin bit his lips in unsure, but he managed to nod, shyly.

As their eyes met once again, the felt butterflies erupt in their stomach.

Weird feeling.

Yeonjun and Soobin became friends, but Soobin never talks. Not even to Yeonjun. Yeonjun was confused yet hurt, he felt like he can't gain Soobin's trust.

One day Yeonjun received a text from Soobin, asking for a hang out at the cafe. He barely receive invites from Soobin, and He gladly accepted it. Yeonjun arrived the Cafe, seeing Soobin already there at a table near the window. He walk towards.

"Soob!" Yeonjun smile widely as he sat besides Soobin. Soobin nodded as he sipped on his latte. Yeonjun ordered ice latte, then he turned to the younger who was zoning out. Silent. Soobin seems to snap back to reality as he started to search in his bag, picking out a pen and a plain paper.

Soobin started to write.

Yeonjun was curious but he decide to not to disturb the younger. Soobin wrote a few word on the paper, as Yeonjun watched him and notice that Soobin was shivering.

He finished writing and looked up to met Yeonjun's eyes. Soobin's eyes is fill with tears of fear. He showed Yeonjun the paper and Yeonjun gasp in shock and disbelief.

The words on the paper.

'I'm a mute.'

Soobin measure Yeonjun's expression with his eyes, but the only thing he can see is shocked.

'Will Yeonjun leave me like others do, just because of I'm a mute, I'm different, I'm unnormal ?' Soobin thought as tears streams down his cheek. 'I shouldn't tell him I shouldn't have...'

Yeonjun notice that Soobin is crying and he panicked. He hugged the sobbing boy. "Bin it's ok, calm down it's ok" Yeonjun's words gives comfort to Soobin as he started to stop sobbing.

"It's ok for being a mute, it's not your fault." Yeonjun said gently, but his mind is a mess. He never thought of a Soobin will be a mute. And everything make sense now, why the teachers won't ask Soobin question, why he never speaks. Soobin is a mute.

Soobin buried his face into Yeonjun's chest, as he felt safe and warm in Yeonjun's entrance. Yeonjun hugged the boy tightly, as his heart ache. 'Bin should have gone through many bad memories and bullying because of this, I should protect him from now on' his deep thought has been cut by Soobin who started to sob again. Yeonjun turn his attention to the bunny"bun, I won't leave you and I'll stay with you ok? No need to be afraid."

Soobin nodded, tears still sting on his soft cheeks and Yeonjun find it beautiful.

"Don't need to be worry, I'll always be with you, my mute."
