Mercy (Kyotani/Maddog)

Chapter 3: Dumbass

All of you stopped by a corner store to grab some snacks before continuing you walk home. The walk wasn't that long but it had been a while since everyone ate. Oikawa picked out some junk food which you teased about getting acne from all the grease.

"What do you think of Mad dog, Grumpy."
Oikawa asked as he snacked on his junk food. Something he often did was talked with his mouth full which Iwaizumi and you both hated.

Iwaizumi quickly hit Oikawa's back, causing Oikawa to cough.
"Finish your food idiot!"

"Well... personality... he's kind of an ass but his playing has to be good if you guys let him join again."
You didn't hate him that much yet, his constant need to tease you was annoying but near the end he wasn't too bad.

"Yeah when he listens to me..."
Oikawa grumbled, making sure to finish chewing his food before speaking this time.
"He only listens to Iwaizumi and  Yahaba... kind of."

"I'll see... he definitely wasn't put I'm his place enough when he was younger."
You stuffed the wrapper of your snack into your pocket as you walked. You were coming up to your house now and your mom wouldn't be happy if she caught you snacking before diner.

"Yeah he can be a problem sometimes..."
Iwaizumi sighed, stopping in the front of your house. Oikawa quickly finished his snack before hiding the wrapper and rushing to the door after you. Both of you waved goodbye to Iwaizumi as he walked away before you entered your house.

You were instantly greeted by your mother's sweet high pitched voice. Oikawa followed your mom to the kitchen chatting as you rushed upstairs to your room. Oikawa was more of your mom's kid and you used to be your dad's before he died. He was a nice man and raised you with to "too many manly features" for your mothers sweet youngest child. Nothing wrong with your mother but you would rather be doing school work or art in your room and so you did until diner.

For some reason you felt the need to sketch Kyotani. You had a few sketch of people like Mizoguchi, Iwaizumi or Oikawa on your walls but that was because they were important to you. This was a boy who got on your never so much you wanted to choke him out.

Soon you were called to diner and had to stop drawing. You helped your mother clean up after diner since Oikawa  helped make diner. After diner you did your homework which was interrupted by you cat Reese meowing atyou. With a sigh you lifted her up onto your lap and she instantly hoped onto your desk. You laughed and shock your head at her.
"It's one thing if you are distracting me but another if you are on my desk."

Reese started batting around you sketch book which was open to half finished portrait of Maddog. She hissed quickly before jumping off you desk and onto your lap again. You laughed and started to stroke her fur.
"I know... he's not the pretty right? For some reason though girl... he's fun to draw, in the same way Iwaizumi is... fucking dumbass."
You laughed a bit as you went back to your homework, eventually going to bed at an ungodly hour.

You woke up at your usual time and walked with your brother and Iwaizumi. Your first class was science, you know the one with the horrendous man known as Kyotani.

When you turned to enter the class you were greet by the same face that haunted your dreams. He noticed you and his usual scowl formed into a small smile. You rolled your eyes at him and went to sit in your seat. A second later the seat next to you was filed by him.
"You mind if I sit?"
He asked as he sat.

You growled slightly as you sat up straight in your desk, your arms folded over your chest
"You got a problem? You always seem to be trying to talk to me."

He shrugged as he took his note book out of his bag.
"Usually you sit alone and so do I... why not make space."
He flatly stated.

You stared briefly before turning to your desk in front of you and went back to doing your homework. There was no fight, he was correct, did you like it, no but you dealt with it.

That was until the teacher came I with "important news." Near the end of his usual morning rambling he announced that the person sitting nearest to you would be your lap partner for the next couple projects. You looked behind and saw something worse then Kyo, a slacker. You knew this person because they had cheated off you and paid you for homework before. Somehow Kyotani would be a better option then this one.

You groaned as you looked at him and he shrugged in response.
"You might of already noticed... but I saved your ass."
You growled at him before turning your attention to the teacher who was now starting his lecture.

Kyotani was rather easy to deal with in class and by that you meant he shut up and did his work. As soon as class ended however he was back to his normal self, teasing and bullying you. That was until the slacker behind you guys ran right into his back when he was exiting your seat.

He instantly went silent and his face cold as he slowly turned to the kid. If you had gotten this look from him you'd probably cry. The slacker instantly stepped back and stumbled under their words.
"S-sorry... I'm just in a rush."

You got up and grabbed the back of  Mad dogs shirt before he could lay a hand on the kid and dragged him out of the classroom.
"Don't need to get into fights now...they apologized"

He growled and instantly pulled his shirt away from your grasp when you left the class.
"What! Asshole shouldn't even be in the class... fucking dumbass."
He mumbled the last part as the kid scurried out of the classroom, avoiding eye contact with Kyotani.

"Whatever. Just don't do it in front of me. See you at practice."
You waved goodbye before turning on your heels and walking away from Kyotani, leaving him stunned.
