Chapter 18:Drunken Kyo

Your schedule had returned to normal before Kyotani and he had stopped attending class again. On Friday however, you skipped going to practice to hang out with some friends and give everyone time to breathe from you, especially before the official season starting next week. When you came home however you found the house in a state of organized chaos, the kitchen table had drink and snacks spread across it and Oikawa was currently tinkering with the speaker.

"What is all this...?'
You asked as you snuck up on Oikawa, causing him to jump and turn to you.

"Oh! Grump! A party! All members of the team are coming over to celebrate the season starting next week."
He laughed as started to shove you up to your room.
"And your invited so put something hot on... actually the opposite of that, then get your ass down here around 9 to help finish setting up!"

You rolled your eyes at your brother and went upstairs to put something nice on, you were tempted to put something hot on to anger your brother but decided against it. As soon as you heard the music start to get loud enough to be heard upstairs you went downstairs to see most of the volleyball team there, including Kyotani and Iwaizumi. You walked down the stairs and observed the two boys on opposite sides of the room. Kyotani was in the corner talking to Yabaha and drinking like his life depended on it while Iwaizumi sat on the couch talking to a group of team members and some random girls you assume Oikawa invited.

You made eye contact with Kyotani across the room and just as you started to approach him to apologize you heard your brother call you. 
"Grump! get your ass over here!" 
Oikawa rushed over to you and tugged you over to the couch and sit between him and Iwaizumi.

You anxiously looked over to Iwaizumi as he wrapped his arm around you. Everyone knew you didn't like to be in the middle of large groups but Oikawa always pushed you to try and "help you get over it."

You sat between the two boys for a bit, nodding along and scratching your wrists. The skin on you wrist was always kinda rough because of you doing this when you were anxious.
Suddenly there was a tap on your head and you turned to see Yubaha.
"Hey hun. Can you help me with something?"
He asked and you nodded, instantly standing and taking the opportunity to leave the situation.

Yubaha lead you to the kitchen and grabbed a drink before handing it to you.
"Here drink. It'll help with the anxiety."

You smiled and nodded at him, cracking open the beer.
"Thank you..."
You quietly mumbled as you took a sip, you went a big drinker so the taste was jarring.

"Don't thank me... thank the man currently throwing up in your toilet. He told me to get ya cause he saw how uncomfortable were..."
Yubaha laughed as you popped a chip into his mouth.

"The party just started and someone is already throwing up."
You questioned, approaching the bathroom near the kitchen.

"To be fair he was drinking fast!"
Yubaha called out to you.

You knocked and opened the door to see Kyotani holding on tightly to the toilet. He was no longer throwing up but you could tell he wasn't having a fun time.
"Kyo...? Are you alright?"
You gently asked as you kneeled down next to him.

Kyotani swatted at you from the toilet.
"I'm fiinnee... go back."
He slurred his words together, clearly having drank too much.

You sighed as you helped him away from the toilet and leaned him against the wall.
"I'm gonna get you some water."
You quickly stood and went back to the kitchen to grab him a glass of water, soon returning to him and forcing him to drink.

He grumbled incorrectly as he tried to turn his head from you.
"I don't need your help.... fuck off..."

You sighed and grabbed Kyotani face and leaned in close.
"Kyo you will drink this water or I swear God."
You growled before holding the cup to his lips and helping him drink from the cup.

"Happy... you can kindly fuck off now..."
He grumbled more as he wiped his chin with his sleeve.

"Not really... I'm sorry Kyotani... and thanks..."
You sighed as you set the now half empty cup on the sink counter.

"Whatever... don't over think it... Yubaha did the work..."
Kyotani attempted to push himself to his feet but nearly tripped and fell. You caught his arm and helped him stand completely.
"I told you to fuck off..."

"Not until you feel better, kyo."
You sighed and you helped him balance himself as he stumbled out of the bathroom.

"I'm better... now leave me alone."
Kyotani pulled away from you and leaned against the kitchen wall.

Yubaha still stood at the snacks table watching you from a distance, being no help.
"Told you to slow down man..."
Kyotani flipped off Yubaha with a small growl in response.

Iwaizumi walked into the kitchen and quickly looked around the room before letting his eyes land on you.
"Dear? Are you alright."

"I am alright-"
You started but before you could explain Kyotani pushed off the wall and started approaching Iwaizumi. You tired to grab him and pull him back against the wall but he kept pushing forward

"You...."
Kyotani slurred as you raised his hand to point at Iwaizumi.

Iwaizumi sighed as he folded his arms over his chest and glared at Kyotani.
"What about me Drunkard"

"Yyyou! Fucked everything up."
Kyotani swayed as he stopped in front of Iwaizumi and pressed his finger into his chest.

"Fucked what up now?"
Iwaizumi laughed as he looked over to you. Both of you know what he meant but Iwaizumi wanted to hear him say it.

You gently tugged at at Kyotanis arm and gently spoke to him.
"Kyo please just... sit down.."
You sighed.

Kyotani looked back at you and quickly pulled his arm away before looking back at Iwaizumi.
"You fucked up my chance with them. You need to leave them alone."

"Me!? You are the one claiming ownership over a person!"
Iwaizumi yelled at him, standing to his full height. Iwaizumi was only tipsy while Kyo was wasted and you didn't want to see the result if they fought.

"Kyo! Come with me."
You demanded as you forcefully grabbed his arm and tired to pull him away but he stood still.

Iwaizumi grabbed the collar if Kyotanis shirt and pulled him up a bit.
"Listen to the them Puppy dog."
He said, obviously getting a bit pissed.
