"Hey, you there? Sorry, I just woke up. Did you eat anything?"

He texted me. I was waiting for his text since the morning. I knew he was sleeping so I did not text him first in case it will disturb his sleep.

"Yes I am here. And it's okay, I know you were asleep. Yup! I ate something hehe"

I was basically answering him. I was an extremely boring person. He was typing again...

"I am so in clingy mood right now. I am always this clingy when waking up"

I giggled reading his text.

"You're a softie, Jack"

"Only with you :) I am an ass towards other people. Well, most people I'd say 'cause I hate people"

He was really a softie but with a certain people. A really small circle of people. I was lucky I am one of those certain people.

"So like, when are you free to watch a horror movie with me? It does not have to be today. Just let me know when and we will decide" he said.

Well, this was the first time someone asked me for a movie night together, even though it was virtually. I meant, from a guy. Of course, I have had movie nights with my female friends but never with a guy. Couldn't believe that was our first movie 'date' and we were watching a horror movie....

It was epic anyway. The movie was actually my first horror movie to watch in a movie night. I was not someone who fancied horror movies and to watch it in movie night? A big NO I'd say. All I could say is that we are different to each other yet we are very similar too. Just imagine, he liked indie rock music, I liked pop. His favourite colour was black whereas mine was red. He fancied horror movies a LOT while I never really watched movies at all. He knew a lot of movies and actually watched them. But, not me. I never really knew about movies and stuffs except for Harry Potter series, yup, the only movie I really watched.

However, I could say I was lucky 'cause we both do dark jokes so it was extra fun together. He understood me better than anyone else, at least, among all guys I ever know. Although he surely wasn't a perfect human being but, he was perfect for me.

"I will let you know soon. I have two upcoming tests this Wednesday :("

"No problem! We will watch it when you are free"

It was Friday and I had no class on that day. I texted him letting him know that I was free to watch the movie with him.

He sent me some movie trailers that he picked himself.

"Which one do you want to watch? Choose one"

I honestly did not know any horror movie so I just watched the trailers. Before that, I asked him "Does this one have a lot of jumpscares? 'Cause I hate jumpscares"

I was referring to a movie I did not remember the title.

"Not much, but it has a lot of gore sh*ts"

Oh cool. I love gore stuffs. But, actually, we ended up watching another one called Grave Encountries. Yup, that was my first horror movie and I was nervous. But I felt comfortable and a bit braver when he was there.

I watched one of the trailers, "Wow very scary"

He replied "I don't know if that's sarcasm or—" I giggled a bit on that.

"No, it's not HAHAHAHA"

I know it was online and virtual so maybe to some people it did not really mean as much as physical bonding activities but I really enjoyed the movie nights with him. Basically, I always enjoyed virtual activities with my online close friends. We were just casually roasting the ghost. It was quite funny even though I struggled catching up with the dialogues.
