Note : This part is TOTALLY fictional. Just to complete the story maybe :) Just know that in reality, this story hangs in the previous chapter (the ending).

------

It's 2024, 12th of October.

I have just graduated from my bachelor's degree studies some months ago. Now, I am working as a full-time journalist in Malaysia. I am now 23 years old. How fast time flew.

I looked at my watch. Ah, I am gonna be late!

It's my flight schedule. I was scheduled to be there a few hours earlier for a quick meeting with a client before I departed off. I am late for 5 minutes! Damn, stupid Rose!

Oh, I decided to have a short vacation at Luzon Island, Philippines. It is one of great tourist attractions in the Philippines. I went there alone. This was the place I wanted to visit to meet someone I considered special a few years ago. I still remember the name.

Jacob Wang.

But our story only exists in my mind now.

I arrived in the island in the evening. I checked-in an airbnb nearby the beautiful refreshing ocean. The central city is a bit far but it's still okay.

On the next morning, I went out for some grocery shopping at this one mall in the city nearby. While I was walking, suddenly, there was this one odd tall guy coming towards my way raising his hand as in he was going to high-five me.

I was dumbfounded. I looked up at him with a complete confusion. I raised up my right hand hesitantly to give him high-five back.. I stopped my hand right in front of his, not smashing our hands together because I am a Muslim. I just gave him an awkward smile but, there was this another hand that gave him a high-five from my back. I was confused as hell! I was stunned there, to even move a bit.

The two guys laughed.

"It was a prank!" The guy in my back shouted with laughters remaining in his deep voice.

I turned my face to look up at him. Since our distance was quite close, I stepped to the side a bit to stay halal 💅🏻

He looked at me with a bright smile. I chuckled a bit seeing them still laughing. I then bowed my body and asked to leave first. They bowed back.

What a weird incident. I shook my head while struggling to carry my stuffs. I bought a lot of stuffs, huh.

The next day in Luzon Island, I went for a short walk in a park, that is so near to a beautiful lake. This lake looks even more amazing at night with the lights and so on.

I sat there on a bench, facing my body to the beautiful lake. The reflection on the surface of the lake from the lights make it even more beautiful and relaxing. There are some swan boats to be rent. I saw some couples rent the boat and ride it while laughing together. We used to wish to do this too, once upon a time ago.
