Finally it was the last lesson of the day I was relieved by this because I hate school so much. As I sat down at my seat I was kinda relieved to not have Charlie with me cause I wanna make other friends I think.

The teacher started talking I wasn't paying attention just copying the text book in front of me. Until the boy that was looking at me earlier swung open the door. "Oh what a surprise, late again ash" the teacher said. "Stop calling me ash my names ashtray and I had to help my brother so sorry bout that." He replied "okay well just sit in your usual seat and do some work for once" miss said. He just rolled his eyes.

As ashtray was making his way to his seat I noticed he was coming my way. As he sat next to me, I was thinking oh great the dick is sitting next to me. As the lesson went on he kept glancing at me I just ignored it because he's annoying and I don't have time for boys.

Then the boy in fronted me turned round and said "your new girl, that was hit what you did earlier in the hall. Wanna go grab ice cream after school or something." But before I could reply Ashtray said "she's not interested leave the fuck alone". I was taken aback by this, I waited for the guy in front to turn back around before I said "why did you do that." He looked at me up and down then turned back to the front. What the fuck is his problem?

Soon enough the lesson ended and I started packing away when Ashtray yanked me out the classroom out to the hall way into a empty classroom. "Bro what the hell, I need to go home before Nate kills me." He looked me up and down again but actually said something this time "Come back with me and my brother we are going to the gas station" I looked at him in disbelief. "Oh yeah cause going with a stranger is a good idea" I said. "Just come with me".

We got outside and he got in this car with me and the guy driving was the same one at the gas station. "Ayy what's she doing here" his brother said "ah nah she's cool she coming to the gas station with us" ashtray replied. "Ok whatever you say but if I get shit from Nate it's your fault".

I decided to text Nate and say I was going home with a new friend and not to pick me up because I didn't want to get on the wrong side of him. "So mysterious girl who are you and why you living with the Jacobs you family or sum" ashtrays brother asked " oh I'm y/n, and no they have adopted me while my mums in rehab cause she's a drug addict". "Shit man that's a tough life,how long you around for". I replied with "um 2 years".

After a couple minutes awkward silence we pulled up at the gas station. We all got out and ashtrays brother opened up the store. He turned round and said "you to go to the back, and show her how to do everything". I was kinda annoyed he brought me here to work when I could be watching obx at home. But I just followed him to the fridge door and went in.

There were drugs in boxes suitcases and almost everywhere I couldn't deal with this not now not ever. Because drugs have made life shit for me, my dad dead my mum in rehab all because of this. I started hyperventilating and having a panic attack which I had never had before. Ashtray looked at me and sat me down on the sofa and rubbed my back which made me feel a lot better.

Once I had calmed down he asked "what was that all about" I was hesitant to answer because I don't like bringing up the past and hate talking about my dad dying so I just said "my mum is in rehab because of drugs just brought so bad stuff to my head that's all." He nodded with understanding and went back to sorting what looked like pills. I just sat there and observed until he put something in the wrong place and could off been harmful if left there so I got up and moved it. He looked up at me with thankfulness in his eyes I simply smiled and looked down again.

Until a girl who looked Nates age came in through the door and was talking to ashtray about what he had. I let them continue when ashtrays brother came and told me to work on the checkout till he finishes with rue which I'm guessing was that girls name. After I served the costumer I got a phone call so I finished helping them and then checked who it was. It was Nate great, "hey where are you" he said "I'm at the gas station where the ginger guy works" then he hung up. Strange I thought, then ashtrays brother comes out with ashtray and says "thank you y/n for doing that" I reply oh no worries it's ok".

"I just realized I never told you ma name it's fez" he says "that's okay" I reply smiling at him. He then turns the conversation as ashtray stands next to me. "you didn't mention your dad earlier what happened to him" I gulped loud enough for them to hear but I trust them so I tell them "err he um died a couple months ago" I say as I look down. Ashtray looks at me "how did he die" I say because fez is a drug dealer so might as well "my dad was a drug dealer but he got shot doing a deal while I was outside in the car".

As soon as I finished my sentence Nate comes in looking angry as fuck. He grabs my arm really hard a pulls me to the car.
