THE CONCEPT ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE CALL "LOVE" IS ABSURD, one that y/n thinks from her youth up until she started ascertaining things when her adolescence bloomed. The perspective she has for "love" didn't alter much from then, same to the ideologies she has that may occur once people felt that thing spurt out inside them. Having so many queries inside her mind as to why is it so hard to feel it and how do people realize love, it led her to not feeling anything at all, void of any affection towards people.
On the second point, it's not facile to determine whether you love someone or not, you'll have a boulder of questions first whether it is just an infatuation or nothing but a small admiration towards the other person and that's just one of the reasons why y/n refused to believe that it exist entirely. Just what does it do anyways? How does it work? Do you need someone to teach you in relevance?
"Ah!" Y/n winced lightly when she received a brute slap in the back of her head, it wasn't just the normal hit that a person should've receive so she pondered slyly on who the hell did such thing to her. Shifting her gazes, she saw the all-time bullies of the grade school she was in and seemed like they finally found a new target after having two of her classmates sent straight to the hospital. This time, they're eyeing her as their dog which befuddled her futhermore.
Their build is ultimately bigger than hers and she's certain that she can't fight them back using her frail young body either. But she wonders more just why would they target her when she's just staying silent all the time? She doesn't even care about what's happening in her surroundings, whether somebody's fighting or somebody's getting bullied. Nonchalance is all she has since it's not her business anyways. She refused to even befriend anyone and just came to read the books that her parents are forcing her to read.
"From now on you'll become our bitch, okay? Now get me a box of milk in the canteen, loser!" The boy upfront laughed together with his peers but much to their dissatisfaction and aversion, y/n just turned her back and carried on with ambling nigher her class. She doesn't have any spare time to waste goofing around with them, she needs to aim higher and be the top of her class. All because of that, the bullies beat her up, not minding if she's a small girl who did nothing out of the ordinary towards them.
"Mother, do you have any bandaids?" She called out, tugging her Mother's suit slightly in hopes that they would look at her in the eyes and see for themselves how many bruises did she obtained for refusing to be the bully's victim. But much to her flabbergast, all she received after asking is a hard slap on the face followed by another and another. What's peculiar is she didn't even feel anything at all, not even an ounce of affliction from that hard hit.
