RAN HAITANI, THE MAN WHO KEEPS ON JOLTING OUT OF SANS LIKE A CLAM whilst completely veiling his presence out of y/n's perimeter came forth in front of her again. She didn't even notice him one bit nor realize that there he stood just beside her whose face remained nonchalant about his sudden appearance.

Ran, after all, just abided y/n's silhouette to the rooftop ever since he saw how Kakucho's eyes brimmed in rage as they were dealing with Benkei downstairs - the person whom they once encounter to fight in their youth. Wouldn't dare admitting himself but he's kind of anxious regarding what's happening and that would sum up why is he there together with her in the rooftop.

"Is there anything I can do for you, Ran?"

"Nothing at all. Just came up to check what's the deal." Emplacing both hands on the pocket of his dark pants, he ambled nigher the lady and went on to the table where she's in, still stoic and blunt whilst doing so.

"I thought you're drunk." Y/n pointed out, fingers busy tapping the marble table.

"It's just my eyes and the fun downstairs. Looking sleepy, aren't they?" He chuckled.

Y/n didn't answer, mind paired up in perplexity because come to think of it, Ran is such a mystery for her. Even if the laddie spared her from her demise and even if she caught him moaning her name out while jerking off, Ran Haitani would always remain as a cypher box for her to decode - diverse from Sanzu who's just a real lunatic, this slick-haired executive is more impeccable and cryptic behind that frolic and downgrading grin of his. How presumptuous of him to even mention things like "trust".

How did Miya even stayed with this kind of guy?

Ah, of course. Miya would answer that the only things she likes about him are his face and the thing between his legs.

"And by the way, you don't need to trust me if you don't want to or you have no reason to do so. I know that I still owe you my life but I might bring it back someday so let's call it quits. But is there something that would you like me to do in order for you to trust me then?" Y/n questioned loud enough for him to hear as he took a seat on the opposite side of the table and watched how the lady's iris would glisten everytime her eyes would dart the star's brilliance a peer.

"You don't wanna know what I want you to do so you can earn my trust." Ran chuckled.

"Something kinky?" Y/n's lips puckered.

"How did you even went up to that?"

"Birds of the same feathers. I just thought Rindou and you are the same."

"Not in the least, mama. I fuck harder than Rindou, you'll go out crawling from my room." Clicking his tongue, Ran's flimsy fingers ran through his purple locks as a frolic grin came playing around his carmine lips - pleased by the pinpoint of their pygmy conversation.

"You have no proofs to tell me that." She remarked sardonically that it had Ran's patience snapping centimer per centimeter upon witnessing the boldness of y/n that Rindou once mentioned and told him to be wary of - well, it's clear enough that he didn't take his brother's advice.

"Someday maybe. I'll make sure you'll experience what Miya did." Ran said - more like threatened and is y/n the last bit concerned about it?

"Make sure I'll experience a better heaven that what Miya did. I'll be waiting patiently." She reputed carelessly, tongue licking her dried lower lip as her e/c eyes went to flounder at him only for a split minute.

No, not in the least does y/n certainly concern herself much about it.

By then, the purple-head just sigh in astonishment before laying his back freely on the bach to relax in front of y/n, lavender eyes drowsily staring at her with such comfort. Oddly, the bliss inside her eyes made his lips curve - maybe because seeing her become all joyous after all those drastic things that happened to her made Ran happy as well. He's just that easy to pent up when it comes to y/n.
