They both returned to their rooms after that. Next morning Avanti didn't go to the class so Sid came to her room. Riya had left earlier as Avanti said she'll be coming in few minutes. 

Ava: Sid, don't you have class? 

Sid: Even you do madam. 

Ava: I won't be attending today. 

He went and sat beside her. 

Sid: What happened? 

Ava: Nothing. Sid, I'm one of the suspects right? 

Sid: Yeah, how do you know? 

Ava: Because it was obvious. My words can make anyone suspicious about me, but I don't care. Just stop this case, it won't solve anyways. I'm trying so much to stop this case but you won't listen. 

Sid: You don't understand, you are bringing yourself under suspicion. 

Avu: And you think I care? I don't understand why you care. 

Sid: Its true I haven't met her, I don't know how she looks, how she was. But that doesn't mean I can't get her justice. 

Avu: Ok then, do whatever you want. But listen one thing, don't drag me in all this and at any moment I'll just say that stop all this. 

Sid: I hope you stay away from this case, as you are becoming one of the suspects. And I know you can't be the one. 

Avu: Don't be too quick to judge or trust anyone, this case is a very complicated one. 

Sid: What do you mean?

Avu: I mean, till you find the culprit, all are your suspects, not just me. 

Sid: I'm not some detective. And I know it can't be you or bhai. 

Ava: Like I said, don't trust anyone. 

Sid: I don't know about others but I know you very well. I know you aren't the real yourself in front of anyone, but I've seen the real you, who you have hidden. I don't know why would you hide who you are, but I love the real you. 

Avanti had no response to these lines of his. For once she felt like telling him everything, but then came the voices in her head, reminding her she can't do that. 

P1: SOMEONE HELP.
P2: NO ONE CAN SAVE YOU.
P1: IS SOMEONE THERE, PLEASE SAVE ME. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
P2: HAHAHAHAHA (evil laugh) 

Sid: Avi, where are you lost? 

Ava: Nowhere. 

She leaned against his chest as he tightened his grip around her. 

Sid: What about the classes? 

Ava: I don't want to go, it feels good here with you. 

Sid: Ok, but only today. We can't be missing our studies, they are important. 

Ava: I know.  

They spent few hours in her room only. But then Sid got a call and they both had to go.

Sid: What happened? 

D: I again checked the place yesterday night and found something, the biggest proof. This locket.

He held a locket, Jai and Avanti immediately identified it. 

Jai: This is Avneet's. 

D: And this? 

Jai: Avanti's. 

He said confused. 

Jai: How did it reach there? 

D: Because she is the one who killed your sister. Not only this locket, even more proofs are there. Both the sisters were seen going there, first one and then the other. And according to their outfits, first the one who died went then the one who killed, meaning first Avneet then Avanti. Then this knife which Avneet was killed by, it was found hidden in her room. 

He said showing a knife. 

D: And this knife has been clearly washed, but the stains haven't gone away. And if not Avneet's blood, then that means one of the sisters killed someone else. Or maybe Riya did. 

Riya looked up hearing him take her name, why is she being dragged in this case now? 

D: So Avanti Kaur, do you accept that you killed Avneet Kaur? 

Ava: Yes. 

Jai looked at Avanti. 

Ava: So the case ends, you found your culprit, the actual murderer. 

Jai: You can't do this, it can't be you. 

Ava: Well it is me, you believe it or not.

The police officers were about to take Avanti but Sid stopped them. 

Sid: Wait. 

All looked at Sid. 

Sid: Finding the culprit isn't enough, we should know the reason also. 

D: What will knowing the reason change? Its proven that she is the killer. 

Sid: I'm thankful for your help, but this matter isn't something you should interfere in. 

Ava: The reason, I'll say it. But only to Siddharth. 

All nodded and Sid pulled her aside. 

Sid: I know you are doing this to just end this case. 

Ava: I am not Avanti. 

Sid: Then? 

Avu: I am Avneet. Avanti is the one who died. 

Sid: Why would you change your identities? 

Avu: Everyone always liked Avanti. I was always the ignored one. First I thought something is wrong in me, but then I realised, its the name Avanti who everyone loved. So I killed Avanti and called myself Avanti. And now see, the name Avneet is getting so much respect after the person who was called it died, or that's what all think. I just needed some love, nothing else. And being Avanti gave it. But then I decided to distance from everyone, realising no one will ever love 'me'.

She said while stressing on 'me'.  

Sid: Wh..you... 

Avu: Its ok, you don't have to say anything. I know you think all love both of us equally, but that's because you came after her death. Before that it was only Avanti Avanti Avanti. But that was until you came, looked past Avanti and saw Avneet. You are the one who actually loved Avneet and I love you too Siddharth.

Sid(in mind): I'll find the true killer, now I have another reason. You went to jail because of this person only. I know its not you. The proofs don't matter. I don't know whether you are Avneet or Avanti, but I know you are the person whom I love and the person who loves me.

Will Sid reach the true killer (if it is not Avneet/ Avanti)?

Why did Avneet/ Avanti keep telling Sid to not trust anyone? 

Was she warning him against someone? If yes, who?
