On Saturday Sidjeet went to the police station and met the officer.
O: Yes?
Jai: Sir, I am Jaijeet Singh. I had filed a case here 1 year back.
He went through the records.
O: Oh yes, brother of the twins. Another case?
Jai: No, the same case.
O: I said right its not possible to open the case again.
Jai: Sir, just some information, nothing else.
O: Look, I am really sorry for your loss, you lost both your sisters. But try to understand, we can't give you any information.
Jai: Both? Only one sister of mine had died, the other is alive.
O: No, both the twins had died. Don't you remember?
He asked another officer to get the file. The officer got it and he turned the file so Sidjeet could read it. It clearly showed the death of both twins, photo of both of their dead bodies also.
Jai: How can this be possible? My other sister, she was living with us till few days back and recently got arrested.
O: We did full investigation but couldn't get any clues.
Sid: But later two lockets were found there. How didn't you find it?
O: There were no lockets, someone fooled you by getting those from somewhere else I think.
Jai turned the page and was shocked seeing the photo.
Jai: This picture..
O: This drug was found in the location. Maybe the murderer used to take drugs. Even a packet of cigarettes was found there.
Jai: No, he just doesn't take them but sells them. Avanti had ordered this, and the delivery date was same as the date of murder.
O: Your sisters took drugs?
Jai: Avneet never touched drugs. And why did you hide this drug information?
O: Investigation is our duty, not yours. So we don't reveal such clues.
Jai: Are you sure both had died?
O: Yes, of course.
Jai: Thank you sir. Sid, lets go.
Sid: Hmm.
They left from there.
Sid: Is there any way to reach the dealer?
Jai: Its very dangerous.
Sid: But if both died, who is she?
Jai: That's what I am confused about. Lets tell others first, then we'll see what to do next.
Sid: Ok.
They reached and informed everyone.
Jai: Where is Riya?
Abhi: She went to teach someone.
Sid: She goes for it everyday since Thursday.
Vaish: I think we should go and meet Avu.
Jai: But what will we say to her? That we were told she has died? Ask her who she is? She knew every single thing Avu knew, she can't be someone else. And if she is someone else, it would just be us giving her all the information.
Vaish: Hmm, you're right. But what shall we do next? Police turned out to be of no help other than confusing us more.
Jai: There is one more thing we found. The dealer Avanti contacted to get that drug, I think he can be the killer. Because this is a very rare drug and only two people in India own it, its usually found in foreign countries only.
Sid: What is so special about this drug?
Jai: If anyone takes more than what they sell, the person will die a very painful death. Its very dangerous, the reason it is very expensive also. A small pinch of it has the ability to leave a person bedridden for the rest of their life if not careful. But still those people sell it, with all the precautions. And Avanti had ordered this drug on the very next day of our parents' death.
Abhi: What if someone sells it in black?
Jai: It is not possible. We can contact the dealer, but its a huge risk.
Sid: But what will the dealer get by killing her or them?
Just then Riya came there. Skips to 1 month later:
The case is still stuck where it was. They still couldn't find out whether Avu is alive or dead. According to police reports she is dead, but she was in front of them only. In the classes teachers are happy with Manav's performance in the tests and exams, but they don't speak a word to him, too scared of him to do so. Manav and Riya became good friends as well in this time.
Riya: Manav, will you study?
Manav: No, I mean its enough.
Riya: No its not. Now stop showing tantrums and study. I feel like I am teaching a small kid.
Manav: And I feel you are a very strict teacher. I am not studying more.
Riya: You are. Your performance will start going low again if you don't study.
Manav: Who is even seeing my marks?
Riya: I am. And as your teacher its my responsibility that you score well.
He sighed while sitting again to study. After sometime,
Riya: Ok now you can go, now its enough for today.
Manav: Finally.
He said a bit too dramatically with a huff making her roll her eyes.
Manav: Going to meet your friends now?
Riya: No, few of them are in police station.
Manav: Police station?
Her eyes widened realising what she said.
Riya: Nothing, leave it.
Manav: You can say me if you want to. I won't tell anyone and can maybe help you.
Riya: I can't tell you till they all agreed, they are more involved in the case than I am.
Manav: Ok.
