Chapter 21 (end)

One day later
The base was now becoming lively with the new people being here and today was going to be a special day for everyone

Alex POV: i wakes up and yawn
"Oh such a good day today mmm~"
I stretch my arms and get out of bed, and next to me who was Faye I then use my foot and poke Faye in the arm
"Faye!~ wake up!"

Faye: She groans
"Let me sleep Alex..."

Alex: "I'm afraid that isn't going to happen!"
I get out of bed and proceed to walk to fayes side and proceed to push her a bit

Faye: She groans and lifts her head up
"Fine I'm up Jesus..."
She gets out of bed and puts her uniform on as they hear the whistle outside and they both head outside and line up with the others who were waking up in a rush

Commander Chole: "Good morning soldiers"
She says as she was walking down the line
"Today the government has officially given the order that world peace is now active, what does that mean?" It's means that military is no longer needed until further notice so that means you can go to your homes if you want, or you can stay here. I'm not asking you guys to stay yet I'm not asking you to leave. It is your choices that, you have a minute to make up your mind"

Faye POV: She looks next to her and sees Cassie

Cassie: "Is she really kidding? I never heard of a time where world peace was a thing"

Faye: "I'm asking the same question also."

Cassie: "Well In that case I'm staying"

Faye: "Of course you are
She rolls her eyes

Cassie: "Not like I'm going to get weird looks from others if I return home"

Faye: "Well you are right about that.."

Commander Chole: "Has everyone made up their mind?"

A few people would step forward wanting to leave

Commander Chole: "You people who stepped forward are excused, get your stuff and leave in the Jeep's"

The people quietly leave to go to their bunks

Chole: "Anyone else wants to go?"
Everyone else stays silent

Chole: "Ok then! Everyone meet at the obstacle course!"

Faye: "Strange, we rarely use the course.."
They would all begin to walk to the course and they line up on the line

Chole: "We are going to have some fun time! Find a partner and we can get started!"

Faye: she would look around as others would get their partners

Darkness: "Oi Faye!"
She goes next to her
"Want to be partners?"

Faye: "Sure!"

Chole: "Alright people you guys have 15 minutes to complete this obstacle course with your partner!"

Everyone gets ready to move

Chole: "And let's GO!"

They start to go through the obstacle course, since it was muddy it made for a lot of fun. And a few minutes later the winners would be cassie and Alex

Cassie: "Wooo another win!"

Alex: "Not bad!"
They both hug their muddy self as Faye and darkness finish second

Faye: "Ah Jesus this mud is going to take awhile to get off me.."

Darkness: "Correct.."

Next would be Jake and Joseph that would make it

Jake: "That is fucking tiring..."
He would try to catch his breath...

Joseph: "Maybe if you stopped hiding in your bunk and exercise maybe you won't be so tiring
The five of them laugh except for Jake

Jake: "You guys got jokes.."

Fourth place would be Amanda and jax who were completely covered in mud

Cassie: "Did you take a mud bath jax with your lover?"

Jax and Amanda: "WE ARE NOT LOVERS!"

Cassie: "Hehehe if you say so"
The others finish up and after everyone would head to the showers to clean off

                                 Epilogue (10 years later)

Jake and Joseph's POV: After 2 years in the army me and Joseph decided to leave to go back to civilian life, it was hard at first considering the tension between humans and furs we finally found a place, Jake was focusing on collage while Joseph was being a mechanic, they got along well as best friends.

Cassie and Alex POV: We still stayed in the army for 5 more years before leaving, both of us are now dating and we are currently residents of a nice size ranch in Texas, Alex Volunteers as a Red Cross member while Cassie is a advisor for a club
Alex does keep in contact with her friends:

Jax and Amanda POV: We left the army after 4 years and we are residence of a house in New York, it's surprising that another year later. Amanda gave birth to a boy and Jax was the father! Amanda and Jax got married a few months after when their kid was born, Amanda is a stay at home mom while Jax is a construction supervisor

Faye, Zach, and darkness POV: We left the military 3 years later and found a place in Ohio to stay at, currently Faye and Zach are still dating while darkness found someone else to love, they share the same apartment due to their close friendship. Faye works at a shooting range, Zach is now an accountant and darkness well... The gal took up archery and was damn fine at it. Faye keeps in contact with Alex often and they occasionally meet

Nika and nik POV: 7 years later I left the army and moved back to my homeland Russia in Moscow with my brother Nik, Nika and Nik have separate homes but they still visit each other, Nika and Nik are both hunters now

Commander Chole POV: I still stayed in the army ever since, still having to train the new soldiers for if combat arises again I will admit.. this job never gets old Hah!
