This one's a bit less of a story and more of a description but that's okay, right? ▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎ The sunlight shone through the cracks between the trees, leaving a blanket of light on the plant-covered ground. Walking further I come across a tree with a door in it's trunk. It's an old door, looks to be between 40-70 years old, covered in moss and dirt yet still surprisingly clean. Approaching the door I could see a unique design from the top to the bottom. It was pretty, I must admit. I get to the door and brush off some off the moss and most of the dirt. I said pretty before but this door is gorgeous. I brush off the handle and take a hold of it. I wanted to look inside but something told me I shouldn't. Letting go and taking a step back I consider my options. Go with my gut? Or go through the door and see what's behind it? Criosity got the better of me. I took a hold of the handle once again and this time, I turn it. The beautiful, old, weathered door slowly creaked open. Hesitantly, I stepped inside, expecting there to be no ground but, to my surprise, there was. Taking another step, I hear a creak behind me. The door closes and I am engulfed in darkness. I turn around and rush to try to open it again, locked? No way out now. Something shifts below me, I look down to see the once sturdy floor disappear, a layer of glass now in its place. It's thin, too thin to hold my weight. Cracks begin to appear, growing bigger and longer by the second. I blink and before I know it, the glass breaks and I'm falling. I reach out, stretching my arms as far as I can, trying to grasp something, anything! But there's nothing..no way of stopping or slowing down..the bottom, nowhere in sight..falling..down, down, down. Is this really the end..? ▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎ Cliffhanger! Hehehehe
