Cassidy's Pov
"Miss Dawson do you believe what happened to you is real?" The defense attorney who was defending my coach.

I didn't say anything. They made the room private so I would have an easier time asking questions yet the back of my neck was having an urge to be itched.

"Take your time." My lawyer said and I nodded.

"Well we don't have all day you haven't answered any of our questions." The attorney said.

"Could have you had hurt yourself to reveal the bruises on your leg and back?" He asked me.

I shook my head no and they nodded. I swore to never lie in this court so I was determined to answer the questions I could answer.

"And Miss Dawson did you find a bruise around both your wrist?" My lawyer asked me and I nodded.

"So your honor the attacker must have pinned her down. We did find evidence in her system that she has recently had drugs." My lawyer said and I smiled.

I looked in the back to see Anna who was already looking at me. She gave me a thumbs up when I saw next to her was Coach Lance.

"Miss Dawson maybe you do drugs to cover up and pin this on Mr King." The attorney said and I shook my head no.

"I don't do drugs..." I said.

"Miss Dawson you said that Me King gave you some pills to help with a diet? Maybe get you in shape as if you were already were." The lawyer said and I nodded in confirm.

"and it made you lose weight fast and made you underweight as well as you not eating?" The judge asked me and I nodded.

I scratched the back of my neck so hard the blood started to be on my finger and I could feel it climbing down my back making me wipe the droplets off.

"Your a basketball player. Maybe you anticipated that you came onto Mr King?" The attorney asked me and I shook my head no.

"Okay can you explain what happened that entire night." He asked me and I struggled to get every detail.

"I thought I passed out in the snow... but people had said other things. I woke up in a nurse's office." I said and they nodded.

"Did you go home or call anyone to come pick you up?" The attorney asked me and I nodded.

"I called my... friend to come pick me up." I said and they nodded.

"And did the nurse realize bruises on your body or did she keep quiet?" My lawyer asked me.

"I don't know if she knew... I didn't know until I walked out." I said and she nodded.

"And this friend of yours? Did she take you home or her home." They asked me.

"She took me to her house." I said.

"Alright can I bring a witness?" My lawyer asked the judge and he nodded.

Anna's POV
The amount of many times I saw Cassidy bring her hand up the back of her neck was uncountable. She did it so many times I convinced she's scratching the skin off her neck.

"Miss Shumate do you believe what happened was real? And that it was believable." They asked me and I nodded.

"It was told that you took this case to the police you and someone else. Who was the other person?" I looked at my coach and than Cassidy who was looking down.

"My coach... Kacy Lance" I said.

"Did you witness the entire thing or did you find out?"

"I found out."

"And did you actually get any evidence of saying Mr King raped Miss Dawson?" The defense attorney asked me.

"The agents told me he confirmed. In all evidence point towards him. I'd say he did it." I said and the coach grew angry at me.

"She came onto me!" Mr King yelled.

"No sir. I don't think she would do that otherwise putting pills in her drink. She's a very quiet person and you took that to her advantage." I said staring down at him.

"YOUR A LIAR!" He yelled before the judge banged his hammer.

"Let's see what the juries have to say. We than bring in evidence that Miss Lawrence have." The judge said and I stepped down.

I sat next to Cassidy who was playing with her fingers. I looked at her and she was staring out of space.

I took a hold of her hand and she snapped out of it looking at me. The juries so far said innocent... but I think the minds will change when they see the evidence.

Cassidy had went back up. Her Lawyer was showing evidence and honestly I think we might win this case.

"So Miss Dawson do you remember anything at all? I still possible think you could easily pin this on Mr King." The attorney said.

"No... I don't remember anything." She said and I nodded as we met eyes.

I gave her two thumbs up to tell her she was doing a good job.

"I do remember... Mr. King trying to get under my clothes... and I do have a feeling that he would inappropriately touch me during practices." She said.

What happened next left me shock and angry. I had ruined the silence after the defense attorney asked the question.

"Well what were you wearing?"
