Anna's POV
It's been a few weeks. Cassidy had some trouble. We had gotten over the court and they labeled Not guilty and Self defense.

"Hey." I said and she looked at me.

"Hi." She mumbled.

"What's wrong?" I asked her.

We bought a house together so that we didn't have to live in a dorm and it was close to the UCLA.

Chase was allowed to come over anytime he wanted to but I think she's having a hard time.

She has a little separation anxiety so I would feel like she's missing her little brother a lot.

Luckily Chase is coming over and surprising her for her birthday and I need to get Cassidy out of the house.

"It's your birthday and your turning 19!" I said and she groaned.

"Oh yay I just wanna crawl into a hole and die now." She said and I rolled my eyes.

Instead of asking her to be my girlfriend on prom night I decided to change it to her birthday that way I have more time to plan and a lot more time to set up something cool.

"Cmon up!" I said shaking the duvet.

"We're going to go out and eat and have a fun time for your birthday." I said and she shook her head no.

"Okay Cmon." I said picking her up making her yelp.

She wrapped her legs around my waist as I supported her butt. We can say we're in the talking stage right now because we've had sex recently and I guess we're just more into each other then we were in highschool.

"what do you want? You've slept till 3 in the afternoon." I said.

"Can we get Italian food?" She mumbled.

"Yeah we can." I said and I felt her smile.

I threw her on the couch and getting her my sweatshirt. She snuggled it before putting it on.

I grabbed my keys and wallet and went to the car. I texted her mom that we left the house and that they were able to come over.

"Who are you texting?" Cassidy asked getting in the car.

"No one." I said putting my phone down.

"Oh..." she muttered looking out the window.

"Hey look at me. I promise it's no one." I said and she nodded and I could still feel her hiding now.

I placed a kiss on her lips and drove to the most expensive Italian restaurant. The entire way she didn't speak to me and I felt really bad.

I had to keep her out long enough for Chase to make a cake for her. We got in the restaurant and placed a booth that was already waiting for us.

"I'm sorry I just got a little curious." She said as we ordered appetizer.

"No it's okay. I have my eyes only for you I promise." I said and she nodded.

When we got our food she had gotten Angel hair Alfredo with shrimp and soup on the side. I got regular spaghetti with a side of garlic bread.

She must have been hungry because half of it was gone before I could even eat my first bite.

I looked at her as she was eating. She ate her soup and started with her shrimp too.

When she caught me staring at her she questioned me.
