Cassidy's Pov
I walked in the library where someone was already there.

"Can I help you?" I mumbled and when they turned around it was Anna.

"Oh it's you..." I muttered walking behind the front desk.

"Can we... talk?" She asked me and I shook my head no.

"I d-don't wanna..." I said.

"Please? I realized I yelled at you and I didn't mean to." She said and I just sunk down in the spinning chair.

"Please? I know I made a mistake and as well as trying to replace yo-" I on accidentally cut her off by my reaction.

"Replace me? You... tried replacing me?" I muttered and she look at me.

"I know... I'm sorry it was such a stupid idea..." she said continuing on.

Am I that bad of a person? Did I get too attached to her? Am I overthinking this? Wait am I overthinking my overthinking?

"So why don't we start over?" She said and that took me out of my tanks of thoughts.

"No thank you..." I said.

Maybe it's the best for the both of us... if I manage to get through the rest of highschool alone I can do this without her.

"Please Cmon..." Anna begged.

"I-I know I made a mistake... and I promise not to do it again." She forced out.

"No." I said.

"Cmon! What do you want me to do! Big you fucking flowers? Shower you with so much love?!" She yelled and that took a turn.

"I just wanted you to acknowledge me..." I said picking up my backpack and duffel bag.

"But since that was too hard for you I'm okay now." I said walking out of the library.

I walked towards first hour. On the way I saw Victoria. She was flirting with a boy and when she saw me she started to whisper to him.

"HEY!" I ignored him as I kept walking.

I felt two hands and a huge amount of force which made me go to the ground.

"That's what you get for talking to Anna." I heard as my blurry vision was getting worse.

Another figure appeared and it was the boy. He smiled before I could see him about to take a punch.

"This... this is for ruining my relationship." She said but before the guy could connect his fist anywhere.

"Get out of here..." I knew the voice.

The boy ran off while I could hear Victoria and Anna fighting. I put my hands over my ears not wanting to listen.

What felt like forever I felt someone take my hands off my ears.

"Cmon... we're gonna get you to the nurses office you could have hit your head.." Anna said she helped me up as my vision was getting a little better.

"Cmon keep walking..." she said softly.

I regret it. Maybe if I let her have another chance it wouldn't turn out so bad. I just don't wanna mess up again.

When we reached the nurses office I sat down as she checked my head.

"You look great. No injuries just use an ice pack." The nurse said and I nodded.

As I walked out me and Anna sat down. The nurse gave me an ice pack and let me use it on my head.

"Can I take you out?" The question was asked by Anna all the sudden.

"E-Excuse me?" I mumbled.

"On a date... one date that's all nothing more than that..." she said and I shrugged.

"I don't know..." I mumbled.

I've never been on a proper date. Sure I've been on date with Anna but not properly with candle lit dinners.

"How bout... the New Mexican restaurant that has opened up." I heard.

"You can just dress up with jeans and a shirt if you want. No fancy dressing I know you don't like dressing up fancy." She said and I nodded a little.

"Take any food on the menu I can pay for it." She said.

"I just want another chance..." she muttered under her breath just barely.

"I'm not a person to give anyone a chance." I said and she looked at me.

"But unfortunately Zoey got another chance... I mean my mom and dad got way more than two chances." I said chucking at the end.

"So... uhm fine. I guess you can have another chance." I said.

"Does this mean your saying yes to the romantic date I'm sure I'm gonna take you on?" She asked and I smiled.

"Sure. But I'm not wearing a dress." I said and she smiled.

"But uhm... what about Victoria?" I asked her and she looked at me.

"Victoria can suck a dick that's not even an inch. She is so brutal and without even trying." She said and I smiled.

"What did she do?" I asked.

"Did you know that she's straight?" She said and my eyes widen.

"Wh- wait how's that possible?" I asked her.

"What do you think a boy is or as well as a man?" She asked me.

"I personally believe boys are dicks... but it's their choice if they want to be a boy or not." I said and she smiled.

"And the same for a girl?" She asked and I nodded.

"Thank you." She said and before I knew it she kissed the top of my head and left me waiting outside.

The nurse wanted to check up on my head again. When I walked out I was sure Anna had left but she was sitting down in a bench waiting for me.

"You ready?" And I nodded.
