"I didn't know, I thought that my decision back then will let us grow more... we were young and we are ready to conquer the world with just love but it won't be enough. I want to give you what your parents have too... and I'm sorry for leaving you both.." Romano felt devastated ng malaman niya ang nangyari sa dalawa ng iwan niya ito.
His knees started to weaken kaya napa upo na lang ito habang tinitignan niya ang dalawang babaeng iniwan niya noon.
Night came and the twins ate what Romano delivered in their room but after a while they started feeling dizzy. They cursed romano dahil mukhang may pangpatulog na naman ang kinain nila.
The twins woke up dahil sa ingay, they both opened their eyes and saw that they were not in the same room last night. The roof is made of anahaw leaves and their view is not the city skyscraper but its the blue water of the sea and sky. Nagkatinginan silang dalawa, napatayo sila mula sa kama at nagulat na bago na ang kanilang mga damit.
Narinig nila ulit ang ingay na mula sa baba kaya naman they slowly crept out of the room towards that noise and they found themselves at the kitchen door, nagtatawanan ang mga ito and they can't help but to cry.
It was tita anna, Romano's mother. Nakita nito kaming nakatingin sa kanya kaya napatigil na itong magsalita at napatingin na din samin ang mga kausap nito kasama ni Romano.
"Hey, gusto niyo bang mag breakfast? more on brunch na pala." sabi ng huli at lumapit samin para halikan kami sa labi.
"Mama, prepared some food para sainyo."
We kept quiet dahil hindi namin alam ang gagawin, but tita anna smiled at us at linapitan na din kami.
She hugged each one of us and tears started falling. They missed this woman, lalo na ang pagmamahal na pinakita nito sa kanila dati. She was still that gentle and kind woman that we have known after all these years.
"Its so good to see you both again. Come here I've prepared some foods para sainyo."
Lumapit kami sa lamesa at umupo, Romano fixed our plates and grabs some foods in the kitchen counter.
"Kumain kayo ng marami ok? bago ko makalimutan ito pala si Nina... ang nurse ko at yun naman si vivian ang anak ng caretaker ng bahay na ito." Pagpapakilala nito samin, we just nodded at them.
"and ladies this is Thyme" sabay lapit ni Romano kay thyme at humawak sa balikat nito "and Pharadox..." ganun din ang ginawa nito sa isa "they are my wives."
Romano sat down in the middle of the two and paid attention to them while eating kung may mga kailangan ba sila at kung anu pa.
Tita anna and nina left them dahil gustong pumunta ng huli sa labas at sumagap ng sariwang hangin habang si vivian naman ay umalis at maglilinis pa daw ito sa labas.
The three sat there without saying a word to each other until Romano can't help it but say a few words that made them look at him.
"I'm sorry... I know that my sorry won't be enough but I really am... I can't.. we can't turn back time but know that... I am very deeply sorry."
Thyme put down the fork she was holding on the plate and pharadox leaned back on the chair.
"You know, we actually moved on with our lives... we accepted that things.. happened.. happened because they intend to make us stronger and it happened for a reason" Thyme said habang nakalingon sa glass door na kaharap ang dagat. "but it leaves scars... we accepted it but it doesn't mean we forgot about it and totally forgiven you."
"Acceptance, Forgiven, Forgotten... its all different but we have to move forward.. we just don't know if we can still be able to give what you wanted from us wholeheartedly because in the true sense... we still hate you." Pharadox finished Thyme's sentence bago ito tumayo at linagay sa kitchen sink ang pinagkainan niya.
Sumunod si Thyme sa kakambal kaya naiwan si Romano na nakatingin lang sa likuran nila.
Lumapit siya sa kitchen counter at umupo sa mga isa sa stool doon. "I know that you hate me both... but all I'm asking is.. give me a chance.. give our marriage a chance... I know that my actions back then won't justify my reasons but I still love you both.."
The twins looked at him and he smiled softly "I just need one more chance. I won't promise anything, kahit anung ipagawa niyo susundin ko, I won't annoy, demand anything at all.. just let me show you how much I'm willing to earn what I lost when I left you both... I just need a chance."
Thyme and Pharadox looked at each other thinking if they are still willing to gamble once again their trust on this man who broke their heart once.
