SINFUL DESIRES:THYME AND PHARADOX

CHAPTER 35

Romano and Timothy Monte was shocked when they both got back and saw the scene before their eyes, Thyme and Pharadox crying like children in their mother's shoulders. Mabilis na lumapit si Romano sa dalawa at nakasunod naman ang ama ng kambal na si Timothy, he looked at his wife who smiled softly at him.

Timothy and Perry left the three of them in the balcony, Thyme and Pharadox took a seat and Romano was in between them. Natigil na sila sa pag-iyak pero meron pa ring luha na lumalabas sa mga mata nila.

"Can you tell us what is the reasons why you left us?"

"We are not mad anymore, we just need to understand some ... things on why you left.."

Romano sighed and held both their hands tightly "It was a few days after you both let me met your parents, I was working at the cafe and you both have classes when your father came to see me..."

"I remember it soooo... clearly, like ot happened just yesterday.. He ordered a coffee with no sugar and milk.. just coffee... He talked to me like he owns the place and own me, the moment I served his coffee he told me in a very menacing and authoritative voice that I should leave you both alone. He didn't care If I was born out of wedlock.. he didn't liked me because simply I... truth be told I didn't have the capability to give you both what you're parents can that time.. We we're still children in the eyes of our parents and he was right... I don't have the means to give you both the wealth, the riches and power I held now..."

"I was poor and powerless, Hindi ko din naman kayang makitang nahihirapan kayo sa piling ko. I want to resist and question your father but I know in the end he was telling the truth.. He even told if I didn't heed his advice as a last resort he will pull out my scholarship, the help that we got for mg mother's medicine... In that short time he give me a decision I have to take."

"It was the hardest decision I have to make that I ever did... " Romano bit his lips and no matter how hard he tried but his tears still won, a lone tear dropped from his eyes, he wiped it out with the back of his that was still holding Pharadox's hand. He sniffed and continued talking, he can't and don't want to looked at the twins hangga't di niya natatapos ang kwento niya.

"I choose my mom... I'm sorry that I didn't choose you both back then.. I choose to let us grow... but apart from each other but know that both of you always remained in my mind and heart that not a day goes by.. that I.. didn't think.. and wanted to see you.. I just endured it because I know that a day will come I can get to see you both as your father promised me. He promised me that if I agreed to his... condition, his the one who will make a way para maging tayo ulit..."

"And you agreed?" Pharadox held his hand tightly while asking that question.

"yes... but I told him to give me more time to be with you. So you won't suspect that he is the culprit and after that he left. The last day I was with you both... I wanted to run away with you so bad but running away won't solved anything. It will create more mess, I didn't want to leave..  I want to throw everything and tell you both the truth but I won't... I...I.. was so surprised when after our graduation day the chris and alex told me your plan.."

"but you didn't came.. we waited for you.. we were ready no matter how much mess or problem it will create. We were ready." Thyme said and leaned her head in his shoulder.

"I know... cause I was too... I was there.. that day. I was ready to run away but your father was there too. He was watching us"

The twins looked at Romano with a shocked face "but we.. we.. we were... we were very sleek about going behind their backs about our plan that day."

"I guess tito Timothy always has eyes on you no matter what you do, hindi niyo lang nakikita yun. Tito gave me a choice too ng makita niya kayong naghihintay saakin. I wanted too but I always think of our future, the what if's and the how's... so I left and Alex saw me. I guess he just didn't tell you and it's ok to me."

"I worked hard after I received our diploma, I was so motivated and eager to have many money and be with you both. I did everything that I could do just to earn more and that's when he came along. My father. He wanted me to be his successor because his other children don't want his legacy.. so he find me. At first I don't want it but mama told me it was my birth right. I was the first born and all that but then I remembered that both our fathers are equal in terms of power, wealth, riches and authority..  call me greedy and selfish but its the only way I know to be equal to you both. It wasn't easy being with them, to be criticized dahil anak ako sa labas but it doesn't bother dahil isa lang ang nasa utak ko noon... and its to be with you both."
