The New Era of Kaiju's

Chapter 5

Zumina's pov
.......ugh.....what happened? The last thing that I remember was Kong running towards me. I slowly start to open my eyes to find myself..........in a glass containment chamber.....🤨 Heh..... Well, this is new.

"Well, Getting out of this glass box should be a piece of cake," I said confidently.  I clenched my fist and Linged my fist towards the glass wall...*punches the wall*...." ouch!!"  Damm it! That glass wall is tougher than I thought.  I realized that I couldn't even see through the glass. I looked around the room to see if there was anything. but there was only me and Kong in the chamber. Kong begins to stir and gradually wakes up from his sleep.

"Ugh... Zumina thank goodness you're OK where are we?" Kong said to me confused. "To be honest, I don't know. We've all been separated into different chambers, I guess." I look out of the glass window to try and see where I am but I can't tell. Just then I see Benitu in another glass contanment across from me with Rodan inside. "BENITU!!! WAKE UP!!!!" I tried screaming at her but there was no response. The glass must be too thick for her to hear me.

Just then we heard a giant rumbling sound. "What's going on?" I said towards Kong. " I don't know!" Just then, the giant metal doors Started rising and covering the glass. Oh no no no no no no no no no!!!! The metal door fully shut on me and Kong. I can't be left in the dark! Not again!!! After a few moments had passed, were submerged into the darkness.

Kong pov

Oh oh, I gotta find a way out of this room. I look around the room to see if there is any way out of this stupid chamber. Ugh! I can't see anything! It's way too dark.  Just then my axe starts to glow just like it did when I fought godzilla back in 2019. I lifted my axe and used it to look around the room to see if there was a way out of there. "Benitu?!... Please answer me!!" I hear Zumina who sounds scared and is banging on the metal door. I quickly used my axe to search the chamber for Zumina. "Zumina! Where are you?" I said to her hoping that I would get some response. Why does she sound scared??

AUTHOR'S NOTE: hey guys it's ya girl! Just wanted to let to know that the chamber that they were in wasn't that big. They're 10 kaiju feet away from each other......Yea 😞that's sad.........Anyway back to the story!

I finally found her...... sitting on the floor with her hand on the door. I knelt to see if she was ok. "Zumina, what's wrong?" I ask her with concern. "I'm sorry, it's just I feel like I'm failing," she said, "What do you mean by failing?" I ask her confused. "I'm supposed to protect my friends and keep them out of harm's way but....lately, I don't think I'm doing too good of a job." "You do a great job, you just weren't expecting this to happen." "Yeah..... but sometimes, my bad thoughts can bring me to a dark place." "what do you mean by that?" "A place where there is no light and only darkness and I'm surrounded by negative thoughts and figures that watch me, laugh at me, mock me." Just before I was about to say something, my axe's light started to fade away and Zumina was starting to get scared.
 
"Kong, y-your axe.." I look down and notice that my axe's light is starting to fade. "no..no....no...no..no..no..no.nononono!" I could hear Zumina whisper to herself. Before I could finish my thought she started to cry, Zumina lunged at me and I fell on the floor with her hugging me tight with her face buried in my chest. "Zumina?" "I'm sorry! I-I just....I'm terrified of the d-dark. I-I don't want t-t-o go back to the D-Dark p-place........please!!!!" I didn't know what to do so I put my axe on the floor next to us and I hugged her back.

Then my axe light went out and the chamber became dark again. "K-Kong, c-can't you t-t-urn y-your axe b-back on?" Zumina asked me. "I'm sorry, my axe doesn't work that way"  I could feel her grip getting tighter and her body trembling and I could feel tears rolling down my chest. "No..No...No..No...No! NONONO!!!" screamed before bawing out into my chest and hugging me like she was gonna die right now.
"P-Please....I-I don't w-wanna...g-g-go b-back!........" She said taking big breaths in between each word.
