The traitor found herself crammed into a tunnel with the rest of the classes, preparing for their first challenge of the day: an obstacle course. She could hear the muffled yells of excitement from the audience as well as feel their anticipation radiating off of them. The suffocating wave of emotions was overwhelming her slightly. The gray walls of the tunnel were filled completely with nervous and determined students; she could not see more than five feet in front of her. The booming voice of present mic began to count down, and she knew that it was time to focus and put her torturous training into effect.
"Focus, Y/n," he said, slightly irritated with the girl, "you need to master your quirk in order to be useful to the heroes."
"How is this making me any more useful?" the girl responded, upset with her current situation.
"You need to learn to sense your enemies without your eyes. We need you to be the best undercover hero we have. We need you to be perfect," the man's tone felt slightly threatening to the girl, causing her to suddenly feel anxious.
"Close your eyes."
"Focus."
Obeying the sudden memory, she let her eyes flutter shut, her vision fading to black as she took deep breaths in. The loud colors radiating from the people surrounding her quickly dissipated and her senses enjoyed the silence. She could hear the heavy breaths of the person next to her and she could feel the heat of the crowded hallway. As soon as Present mic reached the end of his countdown, she felt the person behind her rush over with the intention of shoving her out of the way. The girl moved swiftly, dodging the attempt of sabotage and shoving the student into the person next to her. The hairs on the back of her neck began to stand up as she felt a chill crawl up her spine. Her eyes widened slightly before she instinctively jumped high into the air. When her feet touched the floor, they were met with ice. Todoroki. She sighed slightly, making sure not to lose her balance. She was glad she had researched the students beforehand. She quickly began climbing over the students who had been frozen to the floor without a care. Shit, this might put me behind. She quickly began concocting a risky plan in her head before deciding to carry it out. Continuing to use the students as stepping stones, the girl moved swiftly toward the entrance of the tunnel. When she reached the mouth of the tunnel, the traitor climbed onto the shoulders of a taller student, placing one of her feet on each side of his head before standing completely. The student let out a yell and began clawing at her feet. The girl forcefully kicked her feet off of the boy's shoulders, who yelled in pain. She aimed her feet at the wall, kicking off of it and avoiding the crowd of students who were stuck. She landed skillfully on the ground in front of the tunnel. A boy with red and white hair stood about ten feet in front of the tunnel. A look of slight frustration and shock crossed his face as he saw how many people had evaded his trick. The girl kept up the calm and focus as she darted forward with the intention of taking the lead. Seeing this, the boy quickly shot into a sprint as he moved toward the next obstacle. She could hear muffled shouts all around her from the students, but her attention was trained on the next obstacle. Giant Zero Pointers from the entrance exam that the hero course students had to take. She sped up, running towards the robots without fear.
"Don't hesitate."
The same voice from her memories rang out in her head again, causing an uneasy feeling to settle in her stomach, yet she stayed focused. The robots were suddenly frozen to the floor in their attempts to reach the front runners of the obstacle course. All of them were disabled in one icy blast. However, this could cause an advantage to the other students. They're frozen off balance. The sudden observation became clear to the girl, and in an instant, she was planning her next move. The girl saw Todoroki begin to open his mouth to warn the others and took her chance to run past him. She practically leaped towards him as she made the effort to pass him. She successfully ran past him as her eyes met his. She could see the shock on his face as she pulled the reckless move with no acknowledgment of the fact that she could be crushed to death. No hesitation. He blasted after her, expecting her to become winded from all the running she had been doing. She was a general studies student, after all. Much to his dismay, she continued sprinting and even began to speed up. It wasn't long before she reached the next obstacle. A chasm with ropes connecting each chunk of rock. Todoroki was soon at her side, examining the chasm as she had. Unfortunately for him, she had already cooked up a plan. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes once more. She allowed her feelings of uneasiness and anxiety to spill from her body. A strange sense of tranquility washed over her, and she had become hyper-focused on the movements of her body. Opening her eyes seconds later, feeling completely focused. She sprinted forward without fear or hesitation. Her feet made contact with the rope as she stretched out her arms to their full length to keep balance. She walked along the ropes skillfully and without stopping.
