A/n: Literally only posting this chapter because Rumyabelle commented for me to continue 🤣💋

The sound of voices floated in the air. Far away conversations leaked through the open window, mixing with the pitter patter of raindrops, creating a comforting symphony of city noise. The girl's eyes fluttered open, and she found herself laying beneath her covers. She pulled herself up to a sitting position, her face cringing at the slight sore feeling of where she had been hit the day before. Her eyes shifted to the side of her bed, where her shoes sat on the floor rather than her feet where she remembered them being. Her lazy gaze then shifted to her open window, where raindrops were falling on the floor.  A small smile formed on her face as she suddenly felt grateful: grateful for the lack of nightmares in her sleep and to Tomura, for remembering that she liked having her window open while she slept. She swung her feet over the side of her bed, putting on her shark-shaped slippers. She tumbled out of her room, not bothering to change out of her clothes from yesterday. The door to the bar swung open and she walked through groaning.

"Goodmorning, Ms. y/l/n. How was your sleep?" Kurogiri greeted in his usual formal fashion. She peered at him, not answering but instead taking in his appearance. Something about seeing Kurogiri behind the bar, greeting her like normal, filled her with an overwhelming sense of content. A genuine smile formed on her face, her eyes filling with happiness. A small chuckle rumbled out of Kurogiri's chest, "I'm glad you slept well." Kurogiri returned to whatever he was doing behind the bar as the girl's eyes shifted to the bar stool directly in front of him. Shigaraki sat in the stool, his trademark hand situated on his face. He seemed to be observing her through the fingers of the hand.

"What?" her voice rang out in a slightly snappy tone.

"I thought you got a good night's rest? What's with the tone?" he replied almost teasingly. Her eyes squinted in response. She suddenly walked forward, plopping herself in the seat next to him. She glanced up at him, seeing that his eyes had not left her form. She said nothing, cocking an eyebrow at him as she became genuinely concerned over how much he was staring. "You're covered in bruises," he said flatly. A glance downward was all it took for her to realize what he was referring to. There were dark purple splotches scattered across her arms and legs. "It's not that many" she scoffed, rolling her eyes, slightly embarrassed at the fact that Bakugou could land so many hits on her during their match. Shigaraki made no reply as he reached over and poked the center of one of the purple marks on her leg. "OW, ASSHOLE." A smack was delivered to his shoulder in response. "That Bakugou guy got you pretty good, huh?" he rubbed his shoulder where the girl had smacked him; his eyes were lit up in a way that implied he was smirking behind the hand on his face. "Ugh, shut up, please. I don't want to talk about it." The girl grumbled slightly, staring at the bar's surface, examining the wear and tear in the wood as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. Silence engulfed the two of them. The pitter-patter of rain echoed in the room,  seeming to speak for them. The blue-haired boy interrupted the rain, speaking in an uncharacteristically soft voice. "You did pretty well," He place a hand on the girl's head, making sure not to touch her with all five fingers, "I can train with you so we can strengthen your long-range attacks." The girl's face flushed in embarrassment. I probably looked so pathetic if even Tomura noticed how bad I am at handling long-range attacks. "Sure, whatever," she grumbled in response as she felt Tomura's hand fall from her head, "and thanks." Tomura's eyes shifted to look at her to find her own eyes looking up at him slightly. "For opening the window," she looked back at the bar to find Kurogiri looking at them fondly. She rolled her eyes at him slightly before letting a laugh escape her mouth. "You know what? I actually really missed you, 'Giri," Her head rested on her palm as she looked at him, "Anything interesting happen while I was busy?" A grumble of annoyance escaped Tomura's throat at not being mentioned by the girl, which she ignored, as Kurogiri began to catch her up on the current status of the League. "We desperately need new members. I've been discussing the idea of extending an offer to the Hero Killer, Stain, with the Master." Her interest was piqued by the mention of the so called 'Hero Killer.' Her eyes seemed to light up slightly, "Hero Killer? Don't tell me someone's trying to steal my style." It was clear to both of the villains that the idea of another 'Hero killer' was of great interest to her. Her attention, which was usually very divided, was fully on Kurogiri as he responded to her questions. "Have you not been watching the news, Ms. y/l/n?" The amusement was clear on his face as he looked at the girl; She could imagine him raising an eyebrow behind his misty face. A scoff escaped her lips, "Of course not. I've been way too busy working my ass off at U.A. You're lucky that the Hero Commission beat so much knowledge into me, or I would probably be failing."  A broken smile situated itself on her face as the words escaped her mouth. A 'tch' was head from Shigaraki's mouth at her words before Kurogiri began explaining who Stain was. "He is a vigilante of sorts. He kills the Heroes who he deems unworthy of the title. Many theorize that he got some of his inspiration from the 'soul-killing' villain, Insanity," Kurogiri's eyes squint in satisfaction at his mention of the girl's villain name,  "His usual pattern is to kill Pro Heroes he decides are unworthy in areas far from the general public. He typically kills around six Pro Heroes in a city before moving to a new city. He is currently situated in Hosu City. His last victim was the Pro Hero, Ingenium." The villain placed a hand on her chin, a hum of satisfaction escaping her lips at the explanation. She took a minute to process the new information. "How much attention is he getting right now?"
