"Gavin!" I shout but it's not worth it. He is too far and busy.. It's a practice match, I realise. I have never liked football but watching guys play like this, with soo much passion. I feel like I should join them but it's not worth again.. I focus my stare at the star player of the team. He is very fast and quick. It's like the ball is playing him in the game. He really is a PLAYER.
"Allesia! " Someone shouts my name from the back. I turn around and see the coach. Ohkay.
"Good morning, coach" I say politely as I walk towards him. He passes a genuine smile and nods toward someone form the ground. I then notice his stare which is clearly directed to the devil.
" Umm.. I don't get it. Wha- "
" Is there something going on between YOU and Lockwood? " The coach asks me straight. I feel myself squirm but I stand straight and answer
" NO! Why'd you think like that? " I ask certainly curious.
" I don't know. You seems like a nice girl and he.. well you know him well. " He says as a matter of fact.
" I am his economics project partner. Just came here to have a talk, you know... "
" Yeah sure, whatever you say.. You know, you kinda remind me of my daughter.."
I smile genuinely this time. I don't know why it just feels a lot. I have a feeling there's more to the story but I don't ask much details, I can see him being hurt. We don't get much time to talk since the class gets over. All the guys start moving towards the coach.
" How did I play today, coach? I kicked all of their asses. " Ryle answers his own question with his mischievous smile and winks toward me. I roll my eyes at him, making the other guys chuckle. Some of the guys greet me while others are busy doing God-knows-what.
" It's no fun, you know. I like kicking most of your asses. Nobody can do my job better than ME! " The coach says and everybody starts laughing. I don't see Gavin around with the guys..
" So.. You guys can go to take shower. Clearly, you MUST go to the shower right now. " The coach says and everybody starts going to the shower.
I pass a smile to Marcus and Ryle before they leave. Then my eyes drag to the two handsome guys who are coming directly towards me! Wait what?! I need to hide. What did I do?
" Hey, you guys done with everything? " The coach asks Blake and Gavin..
" Yep. Here's the key " Gavin passes the key to the coach, clearly ignoring me.
" Hey Allie, Haven't seen you for soo long. How are you? " Blake asks me worriedly.
" I'm good. Much better. " I smile at him. He passes the smile. It's been really long since I last saw him. I wonder where he was soo busy, but I don't ask.
" Oh right. Blake, she need to talk to Gavin about their project. Come on, we'll leave them to talk. " The coach says as he starts going towards the opposite direction. Blake starts moving behind him but I see it. His smirk towards me and Gavin with his eyebrows raised. Pervert.
" So? " Gavin asks, looking at everywhere but not me.
" Hi sooo.. " I am so awkward person in this kind of situations. Ugh.
" Would you say something already? I don't have much time. What? Is it about economics project OR me?! " Alright, this is not good. He IS mad at me.
" Listen, I.. I can do it. " I say but it sounds more to myself.. He raises his eyebrows and looks me in the eye this time.
" Puedo ayudarle " I say in a rushed voice. (I can help you)
" Sí? " He asks unsure. (Yeah?)
" Sí! Yo puedo. " I say surely. (Yes! I can)
