Chapter 2

Oki, so when I start a new paragraph, it either means that there's a time skip or a change in Pov

"Then so do you..." 

Luz gasped bolting awake, she was covered in sweat and she clutched her head. "Where am I?" she said to herself looking around, she realised she was sitting on an old beaten up pastel red couch and she was wrapped in a blanket. "My house." A voice said from next to her and she jumped turning to where the voice had come from "Who are you?! Why am I here?!" she was hyperventilating now, but stopped when she felt a hand on her shoulder "You good kid?" Luz looked at the person and identified them as a middle-aged lady with fluffy grey hair and golden eyes. "Where am I?" Luz asked the lady "And who are you?" the lady looked at Luz "I'm Edalyn Clawthorn, but you can call me Eda. And to answer your other question, you're in Australia" ((A/N I was going to put them in America, but I feel like there are almost no stories based in Australia, so ya. Also I seriously considered making Eda say "You're in Australia Mate" It would've been funny, but I'm trying to stick to her cannon character 😂😂 )) Luz looked at Eda with a confused look "On earth..?" and Luz looked very surprised and stood up walking over to a window near the front door "...Earth...? Like... Human realm earth?"  now it was Eda's turn to look confused "Uhm, humans live on earth, yes..." . Luz turned back to Eda "I have to get back to The Boiling Isles! How do I get back though?" Eda looked at Luz with an eyebrow raised "The...Boiling what?" "The Boiling Isles" Luz said looking through the things Eda had left out "Where's Owlbert?" "The wooden owl staff?" Eda asked and pointed to the corner when Luz nodded "Owlbert!" Luz ran over to the staff and the owl on top flew off and landed on Luz's shoulder. "Did the top of that staff just...Are you a cosplay witch or something?" and Luz looked at her "I haven't heard of the cosplay coven, I'm a wild witch so maybe the cosplay coven exist I'm not sure" and Eda looked at Luz "...What did you say your name was?" and Luz looked at her cheerfully "Luz, Luz Noceda" 

"So...you're a witch?" Eda asked looking at Luz who was sitting on Owlbert after her legs got tired "Yup!" and Eda jumped up and grabbed a candle "Turn this into gold!" and Luz looked at her with a bored expression and said flatly "No, golden touch is a curse not a spell" and Eda looked disappointed "oh." 

While Eda was out buying Luz 'human clothes', Luz decided to fly up to the roof, of what Eda called an 'apartment complex', and think about what had happened that day. But when she got to the top, she saw a boy sitting up there, he looked surprised when he saw her but she just assumed it was because she was flying on a staff so she sat down next to him. He looked visibly uncomfortable so Luz asked him a question "Have you ever wondered what it would be like to get thrown into a completely new world that you knew nothing about?" and he looked at her, he had pinkish-red eyes and blonde hair, before he looked back at the city view "...You have no idea..." and Luz narrowed her eyes at him, she felt like she recognised that voice and he seemed to notice this because he got up quickly and walked towards the stairs leading down from the roof "I-uh-I have to go, I'll see you around I guess..." before he opened the door to the stairs and descended down them. "...Weird..." Luz said as she watched him disappear down the stairs. 

When Luz got back from the roof, she was still thinking about where she could know the boy's voice from, but as soon as she entered through the window a small black demon launched itself at her "LUZ!" it shouted "You're ok!" and Luz smiled happily "King!! You are too!!" "Yeah!" just then Eda walked in the door with a bag full of 'human clothes' "Woah, what's that??" and Luz looked at her, confused "A demon? you guys don't have them here?" and Eda looked at Luz with an expression of utter shock "No?! A demon?? You have some weird things in your world Luz" 

"I've enrolled you in a school down the road from here, so you can learn human knowledge, make some friends and most importantly do not draw attention to yourself!"  

Luz was lying in bed, reviewing what Eda had told her just before she went to bed, when she realised that there had been something...different about the boy on the roof compared to all the other humans she'd seen lately...he'd had pointy ears!

A/N

Oki, so before you ask 'Wouldn't Luz have noticed right away that his ears were pointy?', Luz is used to seeing pointy ears, so she wouldn't notice till later. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter, tomorrow is the weekend for me, so I'll be able to update more. Until then! Byyyyeeeeeeeee
