Mixed emorions

Chapter 5

James POV

Holly came over and watched a few movies ,We took a selfie and I uploaded it on Instagram . It seemed unreal to have her here again. I couldn't help but stare into her eyes and I thought about the last time I saw then the day she left and I knew I still loved her and I knew I had to tell her again

"Um I have to tell you something" holly says

"Same ,but you go first" I insist

"Um ok" holly clears her throat

"Well I just wanted you to know I missed having you as a best friend"

And I felt my heart starting to sink

"You'll always be my best friend and I know I've only been back for a few days ,but it's starting to feel like the old days .i missed that" she finished

'The old days'

My heart sank faster than the titanic

"What did you want to say ?" Holly asked

"Doesn't matter" I shrugged

"You sure?"

"Yeah" I reassured her but I could tell she wasn't 100% sure

"I'm going to make dinner ,wanna help out?" I ask changing the subject

"Yeah sure " she stands up and stretched her out and helped me stand up

We were in the kitchen ,I was preparing a salad and she was making some sort of drink, I had put on a old cd I had from like the 9th grade but I have to admit the songs on it were pretty good. Like songs now are basically about sex,drugs,partying etc etc these songs were nice

I heard this one song and I knew it straight away.

It used to be holly's favorite song

So I grab holly's arm and pull her into me I put my other hand on her hip as she put her other arm on my back. Her big brown eyes locked on mine as we started to dance around the room me twirling her around and around . And before I know it

We slipped over and

Bang the salad bowl right on top of our heads

'Oh my god I am so sorry' I say picking bits and pieces out of her hair

But she randomly roars into laughter and she keeps saying 'I'm sorry '

'Its just so funny'

And I find myself laughing with her

After a moment we stop laughing

'Lets order Chines holly says seriously

'Ok' I agree.

A/N: ahh sorry first week of school was hard and I'm tired and busy sigh hope this is ok
