" we're going to go home " I hugged shae and Luke goodbye and waited for James to say his goodbyes

We drove my dads car up to the hospital since his friend drove him to wherever he was

The ride home was silent and awkward

It was 4:30 in the morning and we were both tired

I sighed letting him know I was annoyed

" even though I bearly knew beau when we were younger he always seemed" I start

" I'll see you later " I say awkwardly stepping out of the car onto my driveway

I really wasn't bothered turning my light on so I just plonked onto my bed not even bothering to pull a blanket on

I was just about to fall into a deep slumber when I felt a vibration under my hand where my phone was

Luke : hey can you meet me later today ?

sure where ?

Luke : mine 1:30 ? I'll cook you lunch

" Queensland for two weeks " holly says looking through her closet for her favorite shirt after a moment she catches James looking sad and he says her out the corner of his eyes

" good " she can't hide the fact she's lying though

" so you gonna help me pack or what"
