Huff! Huff! Huff!

The creature runs as fast as his long legs can before any of them catches him. His heart races, beating against his rib cage, as he holds his scarf tightly around his figure.

The young man turns his head to glance at his chasers and he can only groan in frustration as they shoot a couple of arrows towards his way. Leaping forward onto a nearby tree to hide he felt a sharp arrow scratching his shoulder painfully.

A deep hiss escapes his lips. The young man jumps down to run again, it seems he can't hide from them as they're too close to his presence. His only solution is to run.

However, his beautiful face soon is painted pale, when he felt a sharp pain piercing through his back and he chokes. Blood rushes up to his throat and he spits the hot red liquid as he loses control of his body.

The sharp pain slowly numbs his body, his silver eyes widen, with no more strength left in his body he fell into the water as his figure glows in a bright light shifting his form.

Farther and farther down the deep lake he fell, his silver eyes linger in the water blankly as he sees nothing but a pitch of darkness when it consumes him.

---

Beyond the borders of a quiet valley lived a witch. Living in between the borderline of the Magical Forest of creatures and Fae, the young lady isolates herself from the world in hopes to avoid being put into a world filled with greed and power.

To avoid all troubles, young Witch Y/N had lived for ten years in peace as nobody has come to visit her hidden hut, on the top of the waterfall of what was once a stream connected to the pearl lake, of the Magic Forest she forbid herself to get close to.

After having her family chased out of the Rose Village for knowing witchcraft and black magic, she had never seen her parents until a year after just to discover that they were killed by the Fae creatures, dark entities that live among the forest border.

Ever since then, Y/N had never dared to get close to either kind, afraid that they will ambush her into doing what they want. After all, humans are never nice once they discover your magic as for Spirits and the creature of the magical forest they are not to be trusted.

It's better to be isolated than be sorry later.

Crunch! Crunch!

The soft sounds of crumbling leaves can be heard, along with rocky footsteps. Y/N glances around her little hut to check her surrounding.

Have somebody seen her?

Has she been followed?

Her heartbeat rapidly in hopes that it was not an evil creature that could be trying to lure her into helping it. Fae loves to lure humans out to possess them and eat their remains for later. Those were never to be trusted, although they seem harmless.

A small voice squeaks from below her hut. At the bottom of Y/N's porch stairs, she could see from afar, a tiny animal was hunching and crawling for its dear life. Its white fur is drenched in blood and water.

Y/N squint her eyes and stare into the distance of her property. The heavy flow of the waterfall can be heard where she stands and Y/N begin to step down her flight of stair as soon as she discovered that it was an injured animal.

She drops her bundle of rosemary and thyme and quickly heads over to the tiny creature as it inhales and exhales deeply. Y/N hesitantly reaches out to touch its fur and check for its pulse, "There's a heartbeat," She sighs and quickly picks it up without thinking twice whether it was a trap or not.

Y/N have always had a soft spot for animals.

Immediately, she takes it inside her little witch hut in hopes to save it.
