A cloudy sky came one night and a small strike of lightning flashed upon it, shaking the land with anger when Y/N remained in her hut. She would've liked to work on her little experiments outside however, it looks like the weather has other chores for her to do.

The sound of heavy raindrops thumps against her rooftop as the lady with purple eyes scans over her book of magical works.

"Felix?" The young witch turns her attention to the doorway of the small hut at the sounds of rummagings. Y/N sets down the wooden spoon she held and heads over to the door to check the porch.

Is there a tiny animal lingering somewhere around her property?

The sound of soft scurry footsteps makes its way past her below and Y/N glances down. Felix was holding a blanket over himself as if trying to hide from something. His figure shakes vigorously and Y/N softens at the sight of his fragile figure.

"Let me guess? You're scared of thunder?"

A loud boom alerts both of them and Felix clears his throat, "Not quite."

A small raindrop drips down from the crack of the hut and plops itself against Felix's nose and his eyes widen in fear.

"No! Water!" Quickly he tosses the blanket and runs to hide under the table where his pile of fur remains untouched.

Y/N sighs, "Right...water. Ahaha..."

Felix shakes underneath the table and hides within his furry nest of fur and Y/N gently walks over to him and bends down to pet him. She slides the chair aside a bit to see him.

"You know Felix, I did not actually take you for somebody who's terrified of water."

Felix shakes his head, his face still buried within the pile of white fluffs. "I'm not usually like this but ever since that incident in the river, I don't even wanna think about getting wet."

Y/N furrow her brows and gently reaches out to pick him up from underneath the table and cradle him in her warm arms. Felix softens into the young witch's arms and sighs. He inhales her scent through his nose, almost like a baby animal trying to remember its mother's scent before being abandoned.

The silent witch walks aside to the couch to take a seat, while the storm rumbles outside the hut, Felix flinches ever so often at the strike of thunder and she hum a soft melody in hopes that will distract him from the raging thunders at war outside her comfort.

As if it worked a bit, Felix finally stopped moving as his ears perks up at the sound of Y/N's voice. She hums a beautiful melody in his ear to distract him from his fear and before he knows it, he is asleep.

Y/N hum and hum, the very song sung by her mother before she last saw her. The notes were hollow and clear but something about it sounds sad. As if Felix can hear her inner sorrows, Felix turns himself around to look up at Y/N, and he can see a blank broken stare on her face.

Y/N doesn't often wear a sad look on her face whenever Felix is around her so that made him curious and a bit worried.

"You know, if you don't feel well, you don't have to comfort me." Felix's deep voice breaks through her thoughts and she looks down to find the chinchilla but instead, she is alarmed by a hand on her chin from a stranger on his knees, staring back at her.

Y/N's purple eyes widen at the sudden change in the Chinchilla's appearance. His face wore the stars and every constellation she can ever think of. The soft sun-tan beauty hidden behind those stars held a caring silver gaze.

The soft glow of her candle lights kisses Felix's long, golden, hair enhancing his figure giving him an alluring glow of a guardian she was raised not to get involved with.
