A bright morning came as the morning dew seeps from the petals of a floral ground. The change of wind touches a familiar guardian, with blue eyes, as he inhales the scent of the blossom he planted in the previous year. The scent travels from below the mountain, to his nose. His ear perks as he listens for his friend.
Chanhee landed on the rocky property, hidden behind boulders and covered in dead leaves. Looking around the isolated mountain with nothing but dusty residues,
Chanhee enters the dry property that seems almost dead however, the two Guardians knew better that he prefers it that way.
The smell of pollen reaches his nose as he holds back a small sneeze. Chanhee shakes his head at the strong scent coming from below the mountain.
"It seems the air is changing really fast, I can feel my nose falling off," said the Crane, he rubbed his nose with his robe in annoyance as the Wolf looks around frantically for their friend.
"I need to find Felix before the Blue Moon occurs tonight," said Eric as he scan the rocky mountain, once more, thoroughly. "If not then I'll have to ask Hyunjae to assist the others in my stead while I tend to my..."
Chanhee glances over at him, in which Eric looks away shyly.
"Troublesome much, Eric?" said Chanhee, and Eric can only chuckle at the Crane's sharp catch.
Chanhee sighs, "Felix may not be a guardian, although he could, he can help keep the Forest Heart safe at least until the blue moon disappears."
Eric enters the cave entrance without hesitation about what might be inside. His nose sniffs around to find his small friend who seems to be too quiet in his mountain. Not once have Eric ever visited him that he's never home.
Where could he be?
"Trouble! there's trouble by the lake!" the flying birds, alert them of the bad news, and immediately the two guardians take off running down the quiet valley.

Huff! Huff! Huff!
The creature runs as fast as his long legs can before any of them catches him. His heart races, beating against his rib cage, as he holds his scarf tightly around his figure. The young man turns his head to glance at his chasers and he can only groan in frustration as they shoot a couple of arrows towards his way. Leaping forward onto a nearby tree to hide he felt a sharp arrow scratching his shoulder painfully.
A deep hiss escapes his lips. The young man jumps down to run again, it seems he can't hide from them as they're too close to his presence. His only solution is to run.
However, his beautiful face soon is painted pale, when he felt a sharp pain piercing through his back and he chokes. Blood rushes up to his throat and he spits the hot red liquid as he loses control of his body.
The sharp pain slowly numbs his body, his silver eyes widen, with no more strength left in his body he fell into the water as his figure glows in a bright light shifting his form.
Farther and farther down the deep lake he fell, his silver eyes linger in the water blankly as he sees nothing but a pitch of darkness when it consumes him.
"Hyunjae!" yelled Eric as he leaps towards the crowd of guardians who were looking around for intruders. The man Hyunjae, turns his attention towards the wolf. His blue eyes glow as he frantically questions the older.
"What happened?" Asks Eric but Hyunjae can only shake his head.
"The blue moon is appearing tonight and it seems the barrier is already setting the forest visible to the human eyes," explained the Peacock who looks around the lake that was once crystal clear, laced with a blue light.
It's now tainted in a deep red color that resembles blood.
The other creatures of the forest panicked in fear as they couldn't believe the sight of the enchanted lake being tainted with crimson.
"Pearl lake is tainted..." said the familiar Falcon who crosses his arms.
Nine tails flow behind him as he bends down to inspect the sight, "It seems the source is no longer here," said Changmin, he stands straight to look over to the other guardians.
Changmin continues, "It seems to be not an evil entity nor a human but a creature of our forest."
Eric bites down on his lips, Hyunjae turns to Eric, "Where's Yongbok?" The wolf looks at him and shakes his head.
"He's not home," he answered.
Hyunjae looks away to the lake and carefully he felt a light wind. A flutter of pale wings landed beside him.
"A creature is injured and it seems he may have left something behind here," she said, The Swan looks to the guardians and sighs deeply, "something that doesn't belong here, is calling for it's owner..."
Kevin, "What should we do? This is an enchanted lake. If the lake is tainted, the creature here may not survive."
Eric turns to the other's, as the youngest sighs, "I'm not sure if my hunch is correct but," His sapphire eyes scan the lake one more time. He spotted a trail of blood from afar, going deeper out away from the lake.
"I think this creature may be in danger if we don't help him retrieve his belonging."
A voice shrieks, catching all the attention of the forest guardians again, this time they rush over to the source of the scream.
"What's going on?" Sunwoo yelled but then he stops.
Eric bends down to pick up the pearly white scarf with bloody evidence, tainted on the drenched magic scarf that is no longer working. Sunwoo spoke, "This is...Yongbok's scarf isn't it?"
Eric glares into the distance, "Something must've happened."
"Eric, what should we--"
Eric cuts him off, "Shoot, I don't have much time. I leave Yongbok's where about to you guys. I must go now!" Quickly the wolf takes off into the distance. Leaving the other's speechless and confused.
"Where is he going?" Asked Jacob.
Kevin shakes his head, "Where else? He's been talking about it for years."
The others turn to look at the fluffy white scarf now painted in deep red patches. Sunwoo furrows his brows in disgust. Chanhee takes the piece of fluffy cloth, made with what was once magic that is now a chunk of nothing but drenched white fluffs.
"I suppose Felix is in trouble."
