PROOF READ

Genjo sits in his room, writing, and just when he thinks he's got a moments peace to relax a knock rings at his door, the mute boy takes a second to collect himself before opening the door, he sees Robb, stood with a grave expression on his face, he fiddles with his hands before speaking "erm, Tyrion Lannister is here", Genjo closes his eyes and nods, "a nights watchmen is also here", Robb begins to walk to the main hall, Genjo beside him.

They sit at the head table joined by maester Luwin, before them is Tyrion Lannister and the nights watchman, the imp looks around the hall, "I must say I received a slightly warmer welcome on my last visit", Robb stare remains level.

"Any man of the nights watch is welcome at Winterfell", Genjo side-eyes his brother, not appreciating his rudeness.

Tyrion also doesn't like the comment, "Any man of the Night's Watch, but not I, eh, boy?"

"I'm not your boy, Lannister" Robb bites back after being condescended, his tone makes Genjo kick his shin, "I'm Lord of Winterfell while my father is away.

The Lannister gives him a look, "well I suggest you take a page out of your bothers book, and adopt a lords courtesy", he looks to Genjo, smiling lightly.

'I'm sorry about him, my lord. He's under stressful times', Maester Luwin translates for the boy, Tyrion nodding in response, 'how can we help you?', as he says this Hodor enters, carrying Bran.

The imp looks at the boy with sympathy, "So it's true. Hello Bran. Do you remember anything about what happened?"

Maester Luwin answers for the young lord, "he has no memory of that day", this response seems to intrigue Tyrion.

"Curious"

"Why are you here?", Robb cold voice cuts the near-peaceful atmosphere of the room.

Tyrion looks up at the mountainous form of Hood, "Would your charming companion be so kind as to kneel? My neck is beginning to hurt"

"Kneel, Hodor", the gentle man obeys, and lowers them down to the Lannisters height.

"Do you like to ride, Bran?"

Bran answers Tyrion, his tone sad, "Yes. Well, I mean I did like too"

"The boy has lost the use of his legs", Luwin interrupts.

Tyrion looks affronted by this, "what of it? with the right saddle, even a cripple can ride"

"I'm not a cripple", Bran voices, offended

Tyrions faces becomes smug, "then I'm not a dwarf. My father will rejoice to hear it. I have a gift for you", he hands Bran a scroll, on it is a blueprint for a special saddle, "give that t your saddler. He'll provide the rest. You must shape the horse to the rider, start with a yearling and teach it to respond to the reins and to the boys voice"

A hopeful Bran looks between the people in the room, "will I be able to ride?"

"You will", Tyrion nods at him, "on horseback you will be as tall as any of them"

Robb stands, "is this some kind of trick? why do you wan to help him?"

"I have a tender spot in my heart for cripples, bastards and broken things", Tyrion speaks honestly.

Genjo walks around the table, standing before the imp, 'thank you, lord Tyrion. You have shown my brother a true kindness. The hospitality of Winterfell is yours', again, Maester Luwin translates for the mute boy, however Tyrion looks to Robbs hard glare.

"I'm sure it is Lord Genjo, however, I will find a bed somewhere else, probably the brothel outside your walls, that way myself and your brother can sleep easier", he nods to the silent wolf before leaving the hall. Genjo twists, glaring at Robb.

'He was a guest, you should of been kinder to him, should of behaved like the lord of Winterfell', the eldest looks down, feeling ashamed at his behaviour, genjo shakes his head, and walks away, Maester Luwin following him.

At the wall, Jon is atop the infamous ice structure, he had been talking to Sam about his family, "I thought the Starks had another son, did you not know him as well as the others?", the large boy looks at the bastard, seeing a small smile appear ...

At the wall, Jon is atop the infamous ice structure, he had been talking to Sam about his family, "I thought the Starks had another son, did you not know him as well as the others?", the large boy looks at the bastard, seeing a small smile appear on his face.

"Genjo...", he clears his throat, becoming emotional thinking of his brother, "he was born mute, so we all learnt to read his hands, but despite that he became the best archer and swordsman in Winterfell. And despite me being a bastard, he treated me like family, all the way, we trained together everyday", Sam smiles at the words.

"He taught you to fight well"

Jon coughs out a laugh, "yeah, still I could never beat him", he then looks out into the dark sky, "no-one could"
