CHAPTER NINETEEN: LITTLE BOY

THIRD PERSON POV

"Mr. San, the troops have gotten themselves withdrawn for awhile. It seems that the accomplice Bae Soujin is with was Mr. Song Jaemyun, one of the chiefs of your departments," the assistant said and San sighed as he looked at his watch.

"How ignorant. I shouldn't have trusted him," San said and the assistant placed the papers down.

"Mr. Byun Baekhyun would also like to see you, sir," he said and San nodded as the doors opened to reveal the man in a suit, walking towards him.

"So? Did you sue the law firm like I told you to?" San asked, and Baekhyun smirked as he sat on a chair.

"You know I've already done it, Mr. San. As you requested, they're the ones at fault, and your name will never be dirtied," Baekhyun said and San stood up.

"I doubt that," San said as he sipped his whiskey.

"I... don't care if he lives. He has something that should never be disclosed to the public. Best we put the boy back where he belongs or he dies," San said, and Baekhyun nodded.

"For sure, Yuuri is in a whirl of drama. I wonder how much she'll take before her reputation destroys her," Baekhyun grinned.

"I know your law firm and her law firm are on par with each other as the best. You must prove that yours is better, I didn't give you the honor of being my lawyer for being useless in the end," San said and Baekhyun looked at him.

"You don't have to worry Mr. San. Everything is going according to plan," Baekhyun smirked.

"Hey, it's been hour since Soujin spoke to Hyebin, and she's not even uttering a word," Taehyung said as he nudged Jungkook, who was staring at Soujin who was looking into the window.

"And what do you expect me to do? Push her out of the window?" Jungkook replied and Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"You're seriously bad at this side, aren't you?" Taehyung side-eyed Jungkook, and Jungkook snorted.

"Says the one who never had a girlfriend, names their car Heeji, and has a crush on some babe attorney," Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"Look Jungkook, I may not be romantically involved physically, but I am mentally! I read tons of love advice books, you should read Dr. Jagiya those are one of the coolest ones out there!" Taehyung nudged Jungkook.

"Stop it. Focus on what's happening right now," Jungkook said and Taehyung hummed.

"Go talk to her. How are we going to help if we can't get info?" Taehyung said and Jungkook sighed.

"And what? You want me to talk to her or something plus plan a date as well?" Jungkook blabbered and Taehyung's eyes lightened.

"That's it! Go Jungkook!" Taehyung giggled and Jungkook groaned.

"Me and my big mouth."

SOUJIN POV

I stared at the blank view outside. I just felt many emotions inside of me after talking to Hyebin. Even if it was just a little conversation with little information, I felt some things that feel.... sad and hopeless.

"Hey," a voice said, and I turned my head towards the person who was standing before me.

"What, if you're here to start a fight I'm not in the mood," I said as I crossed my arms and he scratched the back of his head before sighing.

"C-can you tell us what's in your mind right now? About Hyebin," Jungkook blurted out and I looked at Jungkook for five seconds before looking at the window, lightening myself up a bit.

"It would be a stupid thing to do if I don't tell you," I said and Jungkook looked down at the ground.

I paused before walking with Jungkook towards V and the others.

"Hey! How did your confess-oW!" Yoongi said but was cut off as Jimin pinched his arm.

"Alright, I'm sorry. I was a bit clouded with my thoughts," I said as I gazed at Hyebin and Jongseong, who were sleeping.

I sat down on a chair before continuing.

"Park Jongseong... is infected with a drug labelled as LIVV," I explained.

"LIVV is a drug that was injected inside of Park Jongseong. And the effects of LIVV are hallucinations, change and defects of brain, hyper or hypo-like behaviors, and sudden burst of intelligence to the brain may be tranported," I said.

"Jongseong is a child test subject. Hyebin said she does not know what LIVV truly contains, but it was injected in him everyday for 4 years now. But the worst thing about LIVV is that it is able to respond to mind control. And the mind control can only be trigerred when the person who first injected the drug to him does it," I explained.

"Hyebin is only a casual medical assistant, so she does not know any more information about LIVV aside from it's effects, but the origins are unknown. But she said that SAN took Jongseong in as he was an orphan, and did terrible things to him for 4 years. Those scientists who tested on him harassed him, raped him, and made fun of him," I said.

"He was on his own until Hyebin came and worked there. She admitted to being too scared with the other scientists, but secretly gave him care and food. Until one day, she was also being abused by those scientists," I said and V looked down, and Jungkook clutched his hands.

"That's cruel. No one should ever be treated like that," Jimin said softly.

"That is why I was like this. How could a human being do such thing to someone especially if it is a child?" I replied.

"But because Jongseong was injected with LIVV for 4 years, won't his symptoms become even stronger and make him weaker?" V asked.

"LIVV, targets the brain. So it probably means that Jongseong got even more sensitive to these effects and as a result he has become numb," I replied and Jungkook sighed.

"You're the lawyer. What should we do?" Jungkook asked as he sat beside me.

"I won't let this go, I will never let this go. I will keep moving forward until I uncover this. Knowing San also has some connections with you is a plus for me, we're talking about helpless people right now. It's my job to help the people who need justice," I said.

"Then we'll help."

THIRD PERSON POV

"Yuuri noona aren't we going a bit over the speed limit?" Yeonjun said as he held onto his dear life.

"I'm not even going over it I'm just a bit more faster than usual," Yuuri replied as she accelerated.

"We have to find Soujin, and tell us about this situation. Although I do know she went to SAN building, so I'll have to fo there and even kick San's balls if I have to," Yuuri replied and Yeonjun gasped.

"This is why you'll never get a husband," Yeonjun muttered and Yuuri glared at her.

"Hey! Help me!"
