FIFTY TWO: FORGIVE ME

THIRD PERSON POV

"Yuuri! This can't be," Yugyeom said as he looked at Yuuri being carried by the team.

The police arrived minutes after the incident. And Soujin told them everything about San and the drug.

"You're saying those children being kidnapped are used by SAN for a drug? How odd, we can probably connect that to our autospy test," Yugyeom said as he check his files.

"But first, we must pay our respects to our senior attorney. We must not stress over this even if it's a dire situation. Yuuri being in peace is what she deserves. Then, report to me at the station for details, Ms. Bae," Yugyeom said as he left, and Soujin and Yeonjun sighed. The Bangtan members have hidden somewhere in case the police would have arrested them, but that still wasn't enough to rid them of what happened to Yuuri.

"My sweet daughter... is...?" Mr. Kang said as he was on a wheelchair in a black hanbok used for funerals. And Mrs. Himekawa sighed as she looked at her husband sadly.

"Our Yuuri... she's... gone," she spoke, and Mr. Kang squinted his eyes.

"I don't think I understand you, dear. Out Yuuri? Is she going abroad? Then why are we in a funeral?" Mr. Kang said and his wife sighed heavily.

"We're here to greet guests who have come to... Yuuri's funeral, sweetie," Mrs. Himekawa said, and Mr. Kang looked down at the ground as they were kneeling.

"My Yuuri.... is dead?" Mr. Kang said.

"But... I'm the one who's supposed to die, not her... Himekawa. What did my angel do? Even if it was for a bad cause, I don't hate her because my daughter always stands up for what's right, and I trust her," Mr. Kang said weakly.

"Good Morning Mr. and Mrs. Kang," Yeonjun and Soujin said as they greeted the couple, and they took a flower before walking towards Yuuri's coffin, kneeling infront of it before bowing.

"Yuuri noona, I'm sorry. This is my fault," Yeonjun cried as more tears rolled down his cheeks.

"I-I wasn't there to save you in time, if only.... if only I talked to you more, this wouldn't have happened," Yeonjun said as Soujin stayed silent.

"Yuuri wouldn't like that if you blamed yourself. We should atleast send her off with peace and happiness," Soujin said as she sat up.

"She was a hero until the end. And that's why she will never waver as my role model," Soujin said as she looked at Yuuri's potrait, covered and decorated with flowers.

-

"I'm here to see Yuuri, I'm happy you called for me," a voice said as Yeonjun and Soujin were quietly sitting in a room with other guests.

Yeonjun and Soujin looked over at the direction to where the voice came from, and a chill went down their spines.

Baekhyun.

"Baekhyun! You were a good man, I was hoping that you'd come as you loved my daughter first, I know Yuuri and you already broke up, but I can see that she was very fond of you," Mr. Kang said innocently.

"Yeonjun, wait," Soujin's eyes widened as Yeonjun stared at him, his fists clenched as he gazed at him walking inside the room where Yuuri rested.

"You, I need to talk to you," Yeonjun said as he stepped inside, not even waiting for Baekhyun to bow down and pay his respects.

"Oh, Baekhyun. You should go ahead, it's alright if it's urgent," Mr. Kang smiled softly at Baekhyun, and Baekhyun sighed softly as he walked past Yeonjun, not waiting for him to go outside.
