|| Chapter Ten ||

Y/n POV
I woke up in a dark void and a beam of light blinded me but it slowly faded away to show...

"Dream?" I say to what I thought was dream.

"I'm not Dream!" He yelled in a loud distorted voice. "Call me XD, young mortal!" He continued.

"I'm sorry but since you're a god... can you help me out?" I say looking around looking for somewhere that can get me out.

"Sure, but one on one condition..." he stops to look at me. Then he harshly grabbed my arm and teleports us back into my house. "Don't die again today,"  He finishes and teleports away. "Why?" I ask looking around as if he's still there.

A gust of wind from my window pushes me toward my front door signifying for me to leave for something until a little note falls to my boots and It says 'go find him, he's been missing you' "Who's Him?!" I yell as if XD referred to someone actually named Him.

I hear someone snap their fingers and I'm suddenly in the air falling. "XD? HELP!" I scream but I don't hear him. Where is he? How am I going to not die today if he doesn't come? I try to calm down and close my eyes as I'm getting closer to the ground and a pair of arms catch me and I say "XD?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" As my eyes flutter open and I see none other than the person that XD wanted me to find.

"Purpled?" "Y/N?!" We both say. I try to slip out of his arms, but then he holds me tighter so I just save my energy and stop.

Purpled POV
What. How did she fall? "Who's XD?" I say raising my eyebrows. "So he's pretty much dream except his mask has an XD instead of a smile and he's a god." Y/n shrugs. In the distance, we could hear lightning. "Oh yeah, I forgot the XD doesn't like being called Dream. I think they're related or something not gonna lie," She says casually as I put her down and making her face me.

I start shaking her back and forth while saying "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU I THOUGHT YOU DIED!" "I did though," she simply says while taking my hands off her shoulders and walking towards the smp. I catch up and hand her the ax that I picked up while she died. I hate seeing Y/n die. While she was walking I noticed that the spot where I assume the cut was is still visible with a giant scar.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I get the courage to ask. She turned around and asked, "Wouldn't it have been weird to say that I was slowly dying right after I confessed that I like you?" "No?! You were dying. What if it was your last life and I didn't know that you were dying?" I say grabbing her arm so she could stop walking away while I was talking to her.

This is too much for me. I love Y/n but she's making me go through so many emotions right now and I don't know how to feel, so I'll just go home by myself. Purpled what is wrong with you? If you love her then comfort her instead of walking away from your problems. I facepalm and grab her arm a little more aggressive than I intended but she'll be okay.

"Let's go home," I say dragging her to her house. "What." She said before bursting out laughing.

Y/n POV
Purpled just randomly started dragging me toward my house and I couldn't help but laugh because a second ago we didn't know what to say and it was just really awkward between us and now- I don't even know at this point.

"Shut up..." he said picking up his pace. "Why should I listen to you purple guy," I say rolling my eyes at him sarcastically.

*WHIS*

"Maybe I'm telling you to shut up because you're attracting mobs, BOZO." he looked back at me then turned around and suddenly starts running faster. "You know I have my ax, so I can fight right?!" I yell trying to catch my breath. "Yeah but I think this is more fun, it's like an obby where you have to try to not get shot," he says slowing down once a part of the smp gets into our view.

"What is wrong with you?" I ask spotting someone with a torch walking towards us. "Who's that?" I asked squinting my eyes to try to see the person better (side note: IT DIDN'T HELP.)

"Come out~ I know you're here!" They say swinging their sword at random bushes slowly getting closer. I looked over to see a panicked Purpled watching the man get closer. I take his backpack to go through it to see if we have anything we can use to get past the man without getting caught and I find an ender pearl! "Yes!" I whisper gaining purpled's attention. "This isn't a time to go through my things!" He whispers to me."

"I got a pearl, stupid idiot!" I whisper back. "OHHHHH, my bad," he says then grabs my hand. I throw the pearl far away then start running once again, but this time not to my house. This time we're going to the special place called Las Nevadas! Yayy..!

Is purpled banned? Yes, yes he is. So what will I do? "Sneak him in duhhhh," I say in my mind, answering the voices questions while mentally rolling my eyes.

Time skip

"Here again? Even after I got banned?" He asks looking around. "Yeah, my home is too far away and I didn't have the proper attire to walk through the snow, sorry bud." I pat his shoulder. He took off his signature purple hoodie and put on his extra black hoodie and put on the hood so the chances of him getting recognized while we get a hotel room would be lower than usual.

"C'Mon!" I said dragging him into our hotel room that we were going to share for the night. "Damn theres only one bed... looks like I have to sleep in the floor," he says leaning on the door frame. "You can sleep with me I don't really care, I just want to sleep right now." I couldn't help but watch Purpled's cheeks grow more red by the second. I've had a crush on this boy ever since I laid eyes on him he's so cute.

I am in love with my best friend and I'm glad that he finally knows that. "Hey, Y/n I have a question." Purpled stands back up straight from leaning on the doorway. "Fire away." "So are we dating now? Since we both confessed that we like each other and stuff? Sorry, I'm not used to this kind of stuff," he laughs nervously.

I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks but I try to keep my cool. "I would love to be your girlfriend but if you don't want to be my boyfriend then that's alright..!" I say. I don't know why but the thought of him confessing but not wanting to be mine is killing me from the inside out and I think he noticed and immediately said "Of course I do!"

I don't really know how this stuff is supposed to go in a relationship but you can help guide me through it," he hugs me tight. "Now can we please go to bed?" I ask. "Okay," he shrugs picking me up and throwing me on the bed, and jumping in next to me as I slowly fall asleep. "I love you, bozo," he kisses me on the forehead then goes to sleep.
