You promised that I won't regret
But it's in the wrong place we'd met
You won't let me walk when it rains
But as you left me, it gives off the same pain.
You make me smile
I hope it'll last for a little while
You make me believe in love again
But it seems like a prelude to another unhappy ending.
You truly are a master of faces
Playing in my mind are your vicious phrases
You comfort me and keep me at bay
Only to realize this is just a facade of your twisted play.
Loving you has always been a mistake
Overdosed on a pill I shouldn't take
Offering my heart just for you to stay
Only to slowly kill my being
like a predator to prey.
