Episode 10: Truth and Lies

Everyone stood there frozen, including myself. I looked at everyone and they all stared right back at me, waiting for my reaction. But what Carl said wasn't true at all.

"Kill him." Jade said to Carl.

Carl looked up at me and I stared at him with widened eyes, mentally telling him not to do it. Carl looked back at Jade and shook his head.

"Fine then I will." Jade said getting out her gun and walking up to Tyler, holding the gun to his head.

Tyler tensed up.

"You already done this to Anna and I never did anything about it and now she's gone! And now you do it to Clem? No! You deserve to die you sick bastard." Jade said placing her finger on the trigger.

"You're all gonna let her do this?! Someone stop her! Please!" He screamed.

Tyler then turned to me, I could see how desperate he was in his eyes.

"Clementine, tell them. Please! Tell them the truth."

"Shut up!" Jade said digging the gun in to his head.

All these thoughts started going around in my head. Tyler's life was in my hands right now and I had the choice of if he dies or lives. But Tyler was bad news from the start and he nearly got Carl killed. But was it really worth killing him? What would we accomplish from that? The loss of a burden? He wasn't much of a burden as Sarah was, a complete liability but he still caused the same amount of trouble whilst being fully aware of his actions.

"Bye asshole..." Jade said.

"WAIT!" I screamed.

Everyone turned to me.

"He didn't rape me..."

"But... Why would he say that? What kind of person says something like that?!" Said Jade.

"Ask him." I said pointing at Tyler.

But he didn't say anything, he just laid there on the floor with his hands covering his face.

"It wasn't meant to go this far... I-I just wanted to piss off Carl. Make him get so angry he'd try to kill me and then I'd have the chance to kill him. I don't know what I was thinking. The same with Anna, I just said that to Michael to piss him off." He quivered.

"You're sick!" Shouted Michael.

"We're all sick. Right? Might as well make the most of it." He laughed.

"I thought you was my best friend Tyler! I trusted you with my life! And that day when you said you... I could of killed you but I didn't but now... I wish I did. I should of known it from the start!" Michael shouted with tears streaming down his cheeks.

"We are Michael."

"No not after this, we're done. I don't want to speak to you ever again. If you try anything like this again... I'll-I'll kill you myself!" Michael said.

I looked at him and could see how serious he was about it but I could also see the pain in his eyes. He was hurt and I knew it. I didn't know how long he had known Tyler for but I know it was way before Jade and Anna turned up.

Michael took a deep breath and sighed heavily. He looked as though he was debating something, having a battle with his own mind and then he turned away with his head in his hands.

Suddenly Tyler started laughing hysterically. His continuos laughs were very disturbing making me wonder if he had finally lost it. I didn't want this group to crack and I was going to make sure it wouldn't happen.
