Chapter 10

Nandini' s pov

I and Mukti came for shopping as I wanted to divert her mind somehow. She didn't shared about Ria with me yet, I asked but she changed the topic and this made me more curious

We both were doing shopping and guess what Mr. Malhotra was walking behind us holding our bags. He apologied to her for his rude behaviour and in return she asked him to take us for shopping and obviously he had to agree

"Listen enough of this shopping I am seriously fed up now" He said and we both shared a smirk with each other

"Bhai this is not fair...You said it's my choice whether I want to shopping for 5 minutes or 5 hours and now you can't stop me ok" mukti said while his jaw dropped

"Don't say you are going to stay here for 3 more hours" He asked in horrible tone

"No no we were just kidding We are done with shopping" she said

We then came back home and this time manik sat with me I was again and again looking at him through the corner of my eyes but he not for once looked at me

"Why are you looking at me like this?" He asked in a low tone

"Me?...no no I am not lookingat you" I said while he nodded his head in disbelief

"What's going on" Mukti asked raising her eyebrows

"Nothing much I was just talking about yesterday's incident" he said then looked at me. I looked at Mukti

"Oh, Nandini don't be tensed as principal threw that bastard out from college" she said and I smiled

I was sitting in guest room of course in Malhotra's house she said me no no actually she forced me to stay with her for few days and I wasn't able to deny as I was also feeling scared to live alone.

I was busy in my thoughts that I didn't notice someone was continuously staring me... I coming out from my thoughts looked at the owner he was none other then Manik he was giving me angry glares

"What are you still doing here?" He asked and I was about to say something but he stopped me showing his hand "I don't need to know I just want you to leave as soon as possible" He said again

"Bhai..." he turned around listening to the voice, it was Mukti. "What happened to you? I said her to live with me for some days so please" she said

"Mukti I don't want her to live here"

"But why? What happened suddenly?" She asked

I was listening to them silently, I took a deep breathe controlling my tears. He looked at me for a quite long time

"I am sorry sir if my presence is bothering you, I will leave asap" I said

"No, Nandini you are not going anywhere. Bhai tell me what's the matter? Is anything bothering you?" She asked. He was still staring me

"I fucking don't know" saying so he left

"You are not going anywhere ok, go to your room I will talk to him" she said and left while I wiped my tears

Manik's pov

I came back to my room shutting the door with a force. I sat on a couch resting my head on backspot what is happening to me? Mukti suddenly entered inside

"Bhai what's wrong with you?"

"I am not in a mood to talk so please"

"But I am tell me what's the matter?"
