Nandini's pov

The person was looking at me with a shocking expression

"Who are you?" She asked

"I am...I am Mukti's friend, college friend...yeah" I said and she smiled but again her expressions changed into confusion

"But what are you doing in Manik's room?" She again asked and now I was searching for an excuse

"I...I..." before I could say further she interrupted me

"Leave this come with me" she said and I sigh but who is she?? She took me downstairs there was another lady sitting on couch drinking coffee she saw me giving confused looks

"Mom who is she?" She asked to the lady standing besides me

"She is mukti's friend" she said and the lady smiled

"Oh I see what's your name sweetie?" She asked

"Nandini" I said

"I am Mukti's mom and she is her grandmother" she introduced herself oh so she is Her mom and dadi

"Nice to meet you auntie and you too mam" I said and they both gave me horrible looks which confused me "what happened" I asked

"From which angle I looks like auntie?" She asked

"And what is this mam? Call me dadu" She said

"And call me mom" her mom said and I smiled

We were sitting on couch while they were telling me about manik and Mukti's childhood we were laughing when suddenly We listened a shout

"Daduuuu" We saw mukti running towards dadu hugging her tightly then coming to mom she hugs her as well "weren't you coming next week and why you didn't told us?" Mukti asked

"Yes mom why you didn't told us about your arrival?" Manik asked hugging her mom then dadi

"Because we thought to give you surprise" dadu said

"I loved the surprise dadu you know how much I missed you" mukti said

"Well now I think I should go as I am completely fine now" I said gaining everyone's attention

"Why nanz what happened?" Mukti said

"Mukti I can't stay here like this I don't want to be burden on you" I said

"Nandini this is your house also as you are mukti's friend" Dadu said and I smiled

"But dadu how can I leave here-" I was badly interrupted by Her mom

"Nandini you are living here only and this is my final decision" she said and I was going to deny but again she interrupted "Don't you think me as you mom?" She asked and I nodded in a yes "Then it's my final decision you are staying here" she said and I nodded again as well

Manik not for once spoken in between maybe he don't want me to live here with him

It was night time I was going back to my room after dinner when again someone pulled me I was shocked for a minute but after seeing him I sigh why he always do this

"What you want sir?" I asked while he locked the door

"You entered my room?" He asked shocking me to the core how he got to know?

"I...I...uhm-"

"Why? Why you entered in my room without my permission?" He asked interrupting me

"Uhmm, actually...I was finding my earring and tha...that night when I came in your room...I think-" I don't know what was I even saying' totally shit

"It was your room" he said' fuck

"Yeah yeah I said I forgotten I don't remember...sorry sir" I said looking down

He took a deep deep deep breathe staring at me

"Why you are doing this? Do you even know what you are doing? You are just 18 and do you even know my age? I am 24 and also I am-" I interrupted him

"I know you are married and you have a daughter" I said while he looked at me for a quite long time without saying a single word

"How do you know?" He asked while I looked down

"I over heard you conversation with your wife"

"What? Stop lying Nandini" he said 'fuck'

"I am not lying I...I really listened"

He again took a deep breathe "she was my daughter not wife" he said to which I looked at him

"Oh I am sorry I misunderstood"

"It's fine but I think as now you know the truth you should keep a distance from me" he said while I blinked my eyes several times to control my tears

"Yes sir"

"Good for you" he said while I turned around to go but suddenly there was a knock on the door while we look at each other with shocking expression

"Go to washroom and don't come until I say you" she said while I nodded and went

"Why so late to open?" It was dadu's voice

"I was in washroom" he said

"Manik I wanna talk to you it's urgent" she said in a serious tone while I opened the door a lit bit to listen more carefully "Manik where is Ria?" She asked while he sighed

"Mukti said you something right?" He asker

"Tell me what I am asking"

"Dadu she...she is save don't worry" he said

"Manik you know that she is heart patient why she is leaving there alone you should take her back here with us I am also missing her" she said

"Dadu I also want to take my Ria here but you know na it's not save I know you are worried for her but I am more worried as she is my daughter" As soon as he completed I was like my whole world stopped I thought Ria is her wife but she is her daughter then who is her wife?

"Manik it's not right she is staying there alone in this condition she is on last stage" She said

"I know" he said in almost tears And I was feeling sad

"Manik you have to be strong see she know her condition still she always stay happy just for us and you also have to be strong for her" she said and went out

I came out to see manik wiping his tears away

"I will be strong for you my girl" he said

"Manik" I said in a husky tone and he looks at me I went close to him sitting in front of him I held his hands in mine in return he just hugged me tightly

I patted his back to calm him I wiped my tears controlling my emotional side he soon broken the hug and looked at me I lean close to him holding his face in my hands. He looked straight in my eyes while I wiped his tears

I just kissed him without thinking twice while he responded back with equal flavour his hands pulled me close holding my waist as he made me sit on his lap and deepen the kiss both our lips were fighting with each other

Soon he broken the kiss in the lack of oxygen I looked at him with love in my eyes while he just again hugged me tightly and We stayed there for a quite long time.
