One shot time!!!

If Katie knew what was bothering Keith she would have fixed it, but she had no idea. Keith was being overly protective, even more than normal. It had something to do with that night she had found him in the woods. She was sure of that, Keith would barely respond now. Always keeping Katie behind him, checking before she did anything. He would even check her food! It was getting out of hand. 

"Keith! Come here!" Katie hollered. When Keith didn't go she screamed in a fake panic. "Keith! Help! Help!" Keith was there in an instant.

"What happened?! Are you ok?!" He was checking her all over. 

"Keith, you need to tell me what happened. You've been on your toes for a while and I want to know why. " Katie demanded. 

"Well......." Keith began.

Ok! So, not the end, I came up with this amazing oneshot and since I don't have any ideas for this fanfic right now, Im gonna put it here. ENJOY!!!!

THE SKIER AND THE SNOW BOARDER

Now, if Katie had had it her way, she would have been in Florida on vacation. But, she go sent to Vermont for  camp, and yes, ski/snow boarding camp. She was rooming with her bestie Allura and to make matters even better. The guys Keith and Lance (They don't hate each other, live with me)  were rooming right across from them. So, Katie didn't really need to be in Florida to be inhaling all this teenage drama.

Katie was currently waiting in line to get onto a ski lift when she caught sight of Keith. He had taken his helmet off and one foot was on his snow board, he was shaking his hair, smiling and laughing, all Katie could do at this point was stare. 

KEITH POV

Lord have mercy on me, I need to talk to Katie because she will be the death of me if I don't. She looks so good on her skis almost flying down the mountain. Welp, for now all I can do is small talk during lunch. 

LUNCH

Lance and I walk over to Katie and Allura's table, we sit down and Lance immediatly goes. 

"May I say, that today, you two look smokin' "

Katie and I facepalmed. Lance was just this type of cringe all the time. Its honestly sort of sad. Lance and Allura start talking so Katie moves her plate across from mine and props her head up in her hands.

"Soooo.........." She starts. "Are you enjoying spending time here?" 

"Duhhhh, snow boarding is awesome. " I reply immediately, I inwardly cringe. 

Katie raises and eyebrow, "Is that so? Well, I think that skiing is better." She says defiantly.

"Oh yeah? Well, I propose a challenge." 

"Is that so? I'm listening."

"You teach me how to ski, and I teach you how to snow board over the course of two days. Than, we decide which one is better." I propose.

"Deal," Katie says immediately. "But I call teaching first!"

I chuckle, "Ok, you win." 

NEXT DAY

"Ok, so first, we need to teach you how to put the ski's on, so you put your boot on, and you put the toe of it into the little triangle area, and the rest of your foot presses into the back of the ski. Next step is to move, we'll start without poles first, shuffle your feet like your walking but dragging you feet, good. Now, get onto the carpet that will take you up the  hill. Awesome, now, fold you feet so that-" Katie was cut off.

"You look cute when your ranting." I smirk. 

"Oh shut up. Im trying to get you down a hill for toddlers, give me a break. Now, as I was saying before I got rudely interrupted. Your going to fold your feet so that......." Katie started again.

I had already stopped listening. Just watching that way her lips moved was insane. And that way she had a cute blush on her cheeks from that cold. Her white hat had a pompom that swayed just so slightly every time she moved her head. And her hair. Her hair was short and fluffy, almost reaching her shoulders. 

3rd person POV

After going down the hill, Keith sort of got the idea of how to go down in a straight line and do some parallel turning. They were both super tired our and went inside to the common area. The common area had 'CAMP CASTLE OF THE LIONS' written on it. The entire place was quirky. 

"Hot chocolate?" Keith asked.

Katie grinned. "With whipped cream and marshmallows please."

"You got it boss." Keith mocked saluted. 

Katie rolled her eyes.

The second Keith handed her the hot chocolate she started slurping it up. In the process she got whipped cream on her noes.

Keith chuckled and reached forward to wipe it off. What he didn't realize was how close that simple action had brought them.

"Hey there," Keith said quietly.

"Hi." Katie said with a smile. 

And then, a miracle happened.

THEY KISSED.

Katie was in bliss. 

A DAY LATER

Of course. This had resulted in them getting sick. They also decided to kick Allura out so now Keith and Katie were rooming together.
