"Betty? Hi, its Charlotte."

"Hey Char! What's up?"

"I'd like to take you up on that offer." Charlotte said.

"Really! This is awesome, we are gonna have so much fun!"

After another hour of talking to Betty on the phone whilst stacking books onto the shelf in front of her, Charlotte arranged to move out and into the new apartment.

"I'll text you the address and a time so we can set time to check it out together and choose rooms and shit."

"Okay!" Charlotte chuckled, " Thanks! We'll talk later!"

"Bye bitch!"

Charlotte chuckled and then turned to help a customer who had entered.

"Oh hi! Mr. Tyson what can I do for you?" Charlotte asked, surprised to see the prim and proper businessmen in the small bookstore, again.

"Derek is just fine ." He said with a tight smile," Is Hailey here?"

"No, she isn't. She only works Monday and Wednesday."

"Thanks, and by the way you look beautiful today." Charlotte blushed and looked down at her mismatched outfit, but when she looked up Derek Tyson was already climbing into his car.

"And then he was like 'by the way you look beautiful today' even though I had the ugliest outfit on! You know that baggy paint spattered shirt and jeans."

"What!" Perry exclaimed as she tallied up Table 5's bill.

"Yeah that's what I was wearing." Charlotte said glumly.

"Char as much as I would like to berate you for you fashion sense right now...you have a customer and Amanda is giving me the evil eye." Charlotte groaned and then saw who her customer was. The really hot guy who she had turned down the night before.

"Oh great." She grabbed a menu and trudged her way over to him. He was dressed semi-formally in beige slacks and a blue button up polo shirt which complemented his tan skin and good looks perfectly.

"Well if it isn't the girl who turned me down last night." He teased, with the ever present smirk upon his gorgeous face.

"Table for one, sir?" Charlotte asked, smirking.

"Well played." He said with a short laugh," Yes, please." She smiled tightly and led him to a table.

"Anything to drink, sir?"

"Same as yesterday, Charlotte." She was surprised he knew her name.

"Coming up."

"Charlotte?" He called, she turned around faced him, his deep green eyes burning into hers, " Just so you know, they all give in eventually." He said confidently.

"I'm sure they do, sir, but I'm not 'all of them'."

"I can see that." He muttered, but loud enough for her to hear, she smiled to herself and left to get his drink.

After bringing the man his drink and taking his order, she took her well- deserved 5 minute break, before checking up on her other tables. The smell of the delicious food had Charlotte's stomach growling and she tried to remember when last she had eaten.

"Charlotte?" The man called after her as she set his food down.

"Anything else?" She asked.

"Yes, call me Dimitri and not 'sir'." He said, " Please." He added as an afterthought.

"Very well." She said and then plastered a smile to her face, " Enjoy your meal, Dimitri." His name rolled off her tongue, she liked the sound of it and it suited him perfectly and then as quickly as she though this she banished it from her mind.

The end to Charlotte's shift came quickly and after a long day's work she was happy to get out of there. As she rounded the corner of the building she bumped right into a warm wall of muscle, strong arms encircled her waist to keep her from losing her balance. After getting over the initial shock she raised her gaze to meet the amused one of Dimitri.

"Well hello there." He chuckled. Charlotte glared at him and quickly detached herself from him.

"What are you doing here? You left hours ago." Charlotte blurted out. He chuckled.

"I was waiting for you." He said as if it was the most logical explanation. " And I thought you never even noticed me leave."

"Thanks for the tip." Charlotte said with a shrug, "Why are you waiting for me?"

"To apologise."

"What?"

"You might not know this, but I am truly a very nice guy..."He said, Charlotte scoffed.

"Really?"

"I am, and I'd like to apologise for being a jerk and then I'd like to drive you home."

" I accept your apology, but I don't let strangers drive me home." Charlotte said firmly.

"How are you supposed to get to know 'strangers' if you don't talk to them?" He said. She mulled it over, he had a point, but he still made her feel uncomfortable.

" Do you like Disney movies?" She asked. He looked at her as if she had grown another head.

"Who doesn't? But I fail to see how that has anything to do with me offering you a lift home?" He said confusedly, his forehead crinkling, she laughed.

"Au contraire , you may give me a lift home now." He smiled. Charlotte inhaled sharply, he had a really nice smile, the kind that made you knees go all jello.

"You sure, I'm not a serial killer?" He asked seriously.

"Are you?"

"No."

She smiled at him, "So are you going to give me a lift or not?"

"Okay, come on then." He said and gestured for her to follow him to sleek silver Mercedes. He opened the passenger door for her and then got in himself, she gave him directions and the whole car drive he created the conversation.

Dimitri, as far as Charlotte was concerned, was a kid at heart even though he was self-proclaimed businessmen who had a very successful business and he was also a womanizer.

"Give me your phone." He said as he stopped outside her apartment complex. She handed it to him. He rapidly typed something into it and soon his phone buzzed.

"Now don't go selling my number to the paps, okay?" He said seriously, she laughed and nodded.

"Thanks for the ride." She said.

"It's a pleasure Charlotte." He said and then she closed the car door and he sped off. She sighed, he made her laugh and was actually an okay guy, but she couldn't help but feel that he wasn't good for her and then she chastised herself, if anything she wasn't his type at all and never would be and she really shouldn't be thinking these thoughts if she wanted to end up happy at the end of the day.

Kind of a filler chapter, but a longer and better chapter is on the way! Thanks for reading and if you have any ideas on who to cast for the role of Dimitri, you can comment and I'll take it into consideration :)
